I really wanted to include my daughter in our wedding ceremony at Lake Harriet Rose Garden in Minneapolis, and Reverend Coleman had some wonderful ideas about how to include her and make her feel special. We wanted a wedding that had a spiritual feel to it, but wasn't too religious, and Rev. Coleman wrote up the most beautiful wedding ceremony for us. I actually cried when I read it!

When we mentioned to our photographer that we were thinking of using Reverend Coleman's services, the biggest grin spread across his face. He said that he had worked with Rev. Coleman many times and his opinion, he was the best choice possible. Wow, was he right! My fiance is the kind of guy who only warms up to people very slowly, but he got along with Rev Coleman immediately! And I loved him right away, too - his kindness and gentleness, combined with his good humor and flexibility, won me over right away. Rev. Coleman was so thorough and organized, he made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. I was so nervous (our wedding had 300 guests!) He had performed wedding ceremonies at the Luther Seminary before, so he knew everyone there and knew how everything worked. Absolutely the best!

We were so lucky to have found Tomkin. I was raised in Blaine but haven't lived in Minnesota since high school. I had to plan the whole thing from San Francisco, which wasn't easy, let me tell you! But Tomkin was SOOO helpful! We talked to many different ministers, but no one "clicked" at all. Once we talked to Tomkin, though, we knew immediately that we had found our minister. He's incredibly organized, and we planned everything over the phone and by email. We couldn't have the rehearsal at our site, unfortunately, because the James J Hill Library was booked up on that Friday, but we had the rehearsal in out hotel ballroom and it went great! My friends were just nuts, but Tomkin took it all in stride. And if he can handle MY friends, he can handle anyone! We had the greatest time, and everyone loved Tomkin!

I was really nervous about how to get married because I was raised Catholic and my fiance was basically anti-religion. But I just didn't want to get up before a judge - I wanted something more meaningful than that. Reverend Coleman completely calmed my fears with his friendly and open manner and it turned out to be a blast just talking with him! It was really nice that he had performed so many wedding ceremonies at our site before (the Saint Paul College Club), and he even wound up knowing BOTH the photographer and the guitarist! We loved our scripting, and the ceremony went off without a hitch!

We used Tomkin for our wedding and he was absolutely wonderful. When we met with him, his warm, charming manner put us completely at our ease, and he walked us through all the steps of our wedding ceremony. He had plenty of suggestions when needed, but what we really loved was that he was such a good listener. Rev. Tomkin was genuinely interested in our backgrounds, our feelings, and the way we wanted our wedding to go. He didn't require pre-marital counseling, didn't impose restrictions, and help us create a wedding that we were both thrilled with. The ceremony was brilliant! Of all the elements of the wedding, our guests commented most about his sermon. He made us feel so comfortable during the rehearsal that we weren't all that nervous, and he got along fabulously with our parents. We recommend Rev. Coleman 100%!!!
