At my old job there was a Carbones right next store. We went there at least once a week. What I liked is that it was quick, they had lots of lunch special choices and it was good! I personally always got the pizza sandwich (kind of like a calzone). Mushrooms and onions, mmmm. I like that their pizza is more like think crust. I also like that you feel like you are supporting a local place. I know there are several around, but it had a local feel. Definitely try it for lunch!

Carbones is an old Twin Cities standard, and, if anything, has only gotten better with age. Personally, I am a fan of their pepperoni pizza. Their pizza is saucy, but not dripping with sauce. In addition, they have the best cheesebread in the midwest! I am reviewing their Saint Paul location, which I am a huge fan of, but I seriously have never had bad pizza at any of the locations! In addition, compared to your average pizza joint, the service is outstanding. nine times out of ten, you will get a friendly smile and a thank you when you go to pick up your order. All in all, this place is the best. The only reason I gave them four and not five stars is because there aren't enough coupons!

Carbone's is an old St. Paul establishment. It is run from the east side Carbone's which is the one I am reviewing. It is the same at the two I have been to, so try any of them. It is thin crust with tons of awesome cheese on top. The other toppings just add variety. You are really paying for cheese and crust. They are great together. The pizza comes in a paper bag which always get soaked with grease. This is not recommended for people on diets!
