We love the Science Museum of Minnesota!
They have wonderful permanant attractions like the Art Park and Mini Golf, Dinosaurs, Mummy, Electricity etc... and at least 1 rotating main attraction. Currently it is Body Worlds. [Incidentally, this one is pretty gross, I didn't care for it]. They also have the Omni Theater which is amazing for watching educational films and documentaries.
There are great deals for free & cheap admision too! Of course check your local library for the free museum pass but also, if your family has Minnesota Care for Health insurance or if anyone receives WIC- you are entitles to a free membership that charges only $1 a person admission.

This is a great place to visit for anyone but especially families. The kids will be entertained for hours and not even be aware that they are learning. The options for food are pretty good too. For the adults, there is plenty that is interesting and educational but what I like best is the view of the outside from both inside and outside on the terrace.

I love going to this science museum. They have different themes every once in a while. One time it was a circus theme, and they had a big tight-rope that you could go on... with a harness. There are a ton of hands on activities that are fun for all ages. I would reccomend going here over any other museum.

The science museum is fun for everyone. The theme is also changes every six months or so, so it a place to visit over and over again. There are a lot of hands on activeties fun for both the kids and the parents. The price is very reasonable. There is an IMax theater there as well. They have a snack bar too. I would recommend everyone visiting this place.

The Science Museum of MN is a great place for kids and adults experience the world of science. I was pleasantly suprised to see the number of adults when my husband and I went without the kids...I was worried we wouldn't fit in but I was 100% wrong. We spent hours and hours learning, seeing and experiencing! We now get to take our two small children with and they enjoy it just as much as we do. I do recommend NOT going on the weekends if at all possible...it can get VERY busy!

We recently brought our baby daughter(9 months) to the science museum. It was such a wonderful trip because we all enjoyed ourselves. My husband and I had a great time experiencing the hands on exhibits while our young daughter was in awe of the sights and the sounds. She was so facinated by everything around her, we were able to spend several hours there and enjoy all of the different exhibits. I am always looking for places to go as a family and this is tops in my book.
