The prices are comparable to other area cleaners, however you get the personal touch that you do not get from the dry cleaning chains.

I used to drop off my laundry all the time here for about $12 a load. Having it done the next day is nice and it's all folded and in a plastic bag. I wish they used more fabric softner, but that's just me. Now, I go in and do my own laundry and the facilities are always nice. It is too crowded on Saturday mornings, but if you go during a big game, it's usually on the TV.

Located in downtown St. Paul, KinderCare Learning Center offers care to children from 6 weeks to 12 years. The director and caregivers are all very friendly and well-qualified. The center is NAEYC accredited. The environment is very open and there is a lot for the children to play with and experience. My one complaint is that the individual rooms are only separated by walls that are a few feet high. Therefore, the whole center is pretty noisy. Despite the noise level, the children seem to be happy and are treated with respect, which is what matters most!

I'm on my feet a lot, so it's important that I have comfortable shoes. I also want my shoes to last for a long time so I take them to George's to have non-slip soles added, or to have them make repairs and help keep my shoes looking new. They also sell a variety of products that you can use at home to keep your shoes looking good, as well as Ugg boots. I take all of my shoes there and am sometimes surprised at how they can take shoes that I had written off as beyond repair and made them look good again. The business is family-owned and they always make you feel welcome. So before you toss your favorite shoes because you think they're too old, take them to George's and see if he can fix them for you.

I take my pet to Mounds View Animal Hospital when I need to board her. It is very close to my house and convenient. The facility is very nice and clean. It has modern facilities, and they are also a vet, so I know there is proper medical care if needed. The staff is super friendly. They remember my pet and are always happy to see her back. My pet seemed happy and actually refreshed when she came back from the Mounds View Animal Hospital.
Pros: Prices are reasonable; $25/day for dog.
Cons: Sunday pick up times are only 1 hour: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

The lines usually aren't that bad here and the wash is decently priced, plus you get plenty of time to soap, wash and rinse. Another bonus is that an attendant is always here, so you won't have to worry about losing your quarters in a broken machine. Their service is also very pleasant.

We used them for portraits some time ago and enjoyed the experience. The photographers took their time and didn't rush. They made smart suggestions and helped us pick backgrounds and wardrobe. They took an abundance of shots and had the proofs ready fast to chose from. The prices are kind of high but you can buy the copyright to the photos and get them printed elswhere for cheaper.

Ever since these guys got bought by some new management, the service has been terrible. They botched several of my shirts, which wasn't so bad. (I had them re-clean them at their own expense.) But then they ruined a skirt of my wife's and is yet to reimburse us, almost a month later. We have definitely switched to another dry cleaner, and we recommend that you do the same.
