This is a great building to see performances in. Almost every seat is a good seat. They have huge plasma screens that let you see acts up close, even if you are kind of far back. This place is pretty new, so it is in excellent shape, very clean. The concession stands sell food and souveniors at average prices. There is also lots of parking arpund the building and in parking ramps.

Wildwood Bowl is a small bowling alley a bit off the beaten path. They offer a very clean and casual atmosphere for both families and people just out to have a good time. They have a small bar attached to the bowling area, so you can have a drink while you're playing a game. They also have dart boards and a few video games to keep you entertained. It's a very nice place and has ample parking just outside the door. Their prices are also very reasonable!

I swim and play tennis and White Bear Racquet and Swim has both of these. There are so many indoor courts, so you can play in the winter too, that are in great condition. There are lessons available with skilled instructors. The pools are heated in the winter and are always clean. I recommend this to the tennis players out there that like to stay in shape during the winter.

The White Bear Center for the Arts offers a large variety of art classes for both children and adults. Some of them are offered through the school system, so kids can take classes after school. Others are offered at the center on days when the kids are off from school. It's very convenient for parents to sign their kids up for classes and give them some exposure to different forms of art. The WB Center offers classes in painting, papermaking, collage, pottery, etc. It's a great place to let your creativity flow.

White Bear Bowl is located in a fairly convenient area in White Bear Lake. It has a lot of lanes, a bar, and food service. If you're looking for an inexpensive night out, it's a decent place to go. Bowling is cheap and it's generally not too crowded. However, the place is showing it's age and could really use some sprucing up. The bathrooms are not very nice at all and the whole place could use some work. I also don't like all of the smoke that permeates the entire place. When I leave there, I feel like I need a shower to get the smell out of my clothes. It's an ok place to go for a few games of bowling or for teenagers to hang out with their friends, though. It beats driving 20 minutes or more to another bowling alley.

The Villager newspaper is a free circular that is dropped periodically on the doorsteps of St. Paul residents. This circular is fairly useless unless you are interested in the goings-on of church organizations, etc, although it often arrives with coupons for home-improvement stores folded inside. If you need new windows or need your carpets cleaned, these might come in handy

I would say as a theme park freak the valley fair is the best theme park in Minnesota.I always buy the season pass and our family visits this park at least half a dozen times.Our favorite is the roller coasters.All the rides are maintained properly and my kid loves the kids rides very much.She loves the cup and saucer ride very much.

My kids really liked seeing the model trains. I enjoyed the historical aspect of it - some scenes depict the Minneapolis RailRoads from the 20's - present. I can't remember the exact admission cost - was a few dollars per person.

This is the smallest LAN game house i've been to. It's not a bad shop though. The place seems to be relatively new. There are not a whole lot of games on the computers, World of Warcraft was on all of them and Quake 3 was as well, a few other titles too. They have a decent snack bar as well and a gas station next door. Check them out some time.

Tally's Dockside is a great little business located right on White Bear Lake. They offer boat, pontoon, and canoe rentals, as well as have their own little marina right there for launching. They also have live music every Wednesday night during the summer months. It's a casual place with outdoor seating for you to sit and relax with your friends. It's nice to listen to live music while watching all the sailboats out on the lake. And, it's a perfect place to rent a pontoon and spend the day relaxing on the lake with friends.
