I love many different types of crafts, and enjoy this store in that I can wander around and everything I might need for future projects can be bought all in one place. I have used the picture framing department three times in a years' time, and with much satisfaction. I look for Hobby Lobby's sale ad in the local paper, and near weekly - something I can use is usually 1/3 to 1/2 off at this location!

For Keeps Sake is the best scrapbook store around. Their selection of paper and embelishments is unbelievable. Their customer service is great too. When I wanted a tool they were out of stock on, they took my name and number and called me the next week letting me know they had one in and they woudl put it on hold for me. They also have a Kodak photo kiosk in the store which is very nice to have when you are cropping there.

Lady Bug Beads has a huge selection of all different kinds of beads. My daughter likes make necklaces and bracelets and I bring her in here to find new and different beads. I think the prices are a little high, but with the selection you can complain. They do send out coupons and have specials so make sure and get on the mailing list.

Knitorious just moved down the street from their old location! I haven't been to the new digs yet, but I hear they are nice. The staff is friendly, and will leave you alone when you are browsing. It did feel a bit like a secret society when I went: everyone knew eachother. They do carry a nice aray of yarn, unfortunately not what I was looking for (or in the colours I was looking for at the time). It is easy to shop for yarn online, but it is nice to have something local to actually check out the brands.

This is a great place to take your young children. They have structured play, music, and art classes for young infants and children. It is a great place to go to meet other moms and also to let your child explore and play in an open, colorful area with different toys than they have at home. The cost of this program varies depending on what classes you sign up for and what area you live in. I highly recommend going to a free preview class though to check it out.

My daughter was looking for something different to try and after looking through the directory of available classes, decided upon the Introduction to Fencing classes.
The fees for the Community Education Classes are very reasonable for the length of the course and they offer small class size for individual attention.
The Intro to Fencing class was a wonderful exercise both mentally and physically. The students were challenged physically to get the correct moves and mentally to remember the proper steps and memorize the right movements.
Encouragement was offered and the tournaments held at the end of the course were delightful for both the participants and the people watching them.
If you're looking for something different, you ought to try Intro to Fencing at the RCEC.
