I had this photographer for my wedding (actually I had the owner, plus two of her associates) and I was very very pleased by the outcome. I had over a thousand prints from that day.
Her packages are very reasonable for the amount of time they spend and the quality of the photography that you will get. I cannot say enough great things about this business.
If you are getting married, please check this business out for your wedding photography needs.

This is a great place to take your young children. They have structured play, music, and art classes for young infants and children. It is a great place to go to meet other moms and also to let your child explore and play in an open, colorful area with different toys than they have at home. The cost of this program varies depending on what classes you sign up for and what area you live in. I highly recommend going to a free preview class though to check it out.

Grilling for my family and friends over this Labor Day weekend typically means at least one burn for me and scrapes for the kids who are running around like mad playing. I have how to keeps those burns off my hands (see my review here of the awesome oven mitts I use: http://www.judysbook.com/members/MelindaB/posts/2006/9/452254/ ), but I haven't managed to keep those scrapes from my children. So I make sure I have all of the supplies I need for ouchies by shopping my local Walgreens. Actually, there are two that are near my house, one is much newer than the other. I prefer the older location at the corner of Gravois and River Des Peres.
This Walgreens location is always clean and well stocked. That is important to me when I am looking for a specific item. But even more than that, the staff at this store is helpful and nice! I have never been spoken to in a curt manner nor have I been rudely told to look for an item myself (I wouldn't have asked for help if I could have found it). In addition, this store is open 24 hours and the pharmacy is always open.
So if you need to stock your medicine cabinet in order to for the masses invading your house for you holiday festivities, check out Walgreens. I give it five stars.

I have been taking my dog to VCA Bal-Coeur on New Ballas Rd. for several years, and I have never received better service or quality of care for my animals at another clinic. Not only is their office extremely comfortable, but their staff is excellent. Each person, from the receptionist to the technicians to the veterinarians, take superb care of my dog and make us feel 100% at home and comfortable. I always leave their office knowing that my dog was thoroughly examined and received the best care in the area.

Bearden Violin shop in St. louis is a great find for those who play the violin. Mr. Bearden is an accomplished Violinist who provides lessons and you can see many of his accalades posted on the walls. They are neat to see and fun to read.
They also sell and rent violins. We rented one for our daughter and then upgraded to a full size when she needed it. The transition went great and we have the option to buy the instrument with some of the money we paid to rent it going towardd the total. It’s a great way to find the right violin.

Upon adopting a kitten, we were given the name of several veterinary clinics we could choose to get our kittens free shots and spaying at.
We chose the Olivette Veterinary Clinic and have never regretted it.
Dr. Levinson treats every pet like it's his own and the staff is the same way.
The rates for shots and well visits are very reasonable and they can see you almost any time you call needing an appointment.
There are several "house" cats walking around the clinic as an added treat. There is always someone to pet and looking for a scratch.
If you're looking for a place that treats your animals the way you want them to be treated, bring them here.

A few years ago I purchased several iguana babies. After a few months, one would die, since they are very difficult to keep in an enclosed environment. The staff was always wonderful about the death and very helpful in finding an appropriate replacement. I also purchased lots of fish there and could not have been happier with the selection and prices.
