The doctors at Steen Chiropractic Clinic genuinely care about the welfare of their patients and work to make sure that you're able to come in when you need help.
I'd had back pain due to an automobile accident and my regular Chiropractor was ironically, in the hospital due to an auto accident. I called Steen and they were able to get me in immediately. They were nice enough to let me bring my own x-rays to spare the expense of new ones (my insurance company wouldn't pay for a new set) and with the treatment plan faxed over from my regular office, they were able to treat me for the strained muscles that I had.
A few days after treatment, I received a follow up call from their offices making sure I was okay and they offered to see me again as needed until my regular Chiropractor was back.

For several years now my whole family has gone to Lucas optometry for our eye care needs. This is a family run business and the people are so friendly. They are very accomodating, have great people skills, and are very skilled in optometry. I have recommended them many times and would do so again.

I tried this optical shop last year when I realized I needed a new prescription for my contacts. They are really a no frills office with a smaller inventory of eyewear and staff that seem to always be busy doing something. I would recommend them only for a basic exam and not much else.
PROS: good for basic eye exam
CONS: smaller office, less selection, staff not eager to help

I found Dr. Flavius Pernoud uncaring and disinterested in his patients, and more interested in making a sales pitch. Additionally, I experienced an unreasonable waiting time (>1 hour after eyes were dilated), and recieved no explanation or apology for the delay.
As a health care professional myself, I found this totally unacceptable.
I have moved on to another Eye Care center for mine and my families eye care needs.
Pros: Office Staff
Cons: Lack of interest in patients/More interested in making a sales pitch
