"Connie's" in St. Clair Shores is one of the best children's clothing boutiques around. It's been around for years! My mother shopped at Connie's for some of my clothes when I was a child. Today, I shop there for the latest in fashion for my children. Some items are a bit pricey, however you can still find bargains here too! They only have two big sales a year, winter and summer. You can find things for 50-75% if you catch the sales right. They carry many of the department store brands as well as boutique brands. They have adorable hair accessories and socks for girls!

They had to rebuild due to a fire and the place has
changed for the better. A whole bunch of our friends
from work went way down here to St. Clair Shores to
spend a night at bowling. Love the way the bowling
alleys are upstairs and their are cute tables for
drinks and munchies. The night we went out there it
was pretty packed though and my poor husband threw
out his back! That was due to age (LOL)! Definitely
recommend...very nice atmosphere and loads of
fun!

this is a smaller bowling alley and it was just redone so its all modern. Its really very inexpensive.They have a small snack bar and vending machines. And the owner is great.This place is so old that my father in law used to be a pin setter there when he was a kid. Of course its all modern now. And its a great place to take the kids.

Its only thee place to go for shoes. Some might be "knock offs" but they are pretty much the same. So i guess if you want name brand, and not knock offs, then i guess payless isn't the place to go for that particular shoe. But there is always another shoe you might want. And they aren't all knock offs.
Payless is a ONLY SHOES store. So every isle is filled and the are sorted by size. So it is really easy to find what you want because you just have to look in your size instead of finding the shoe and seeing if they actually have your size.

This store is located at 11 Mile Road and Martin, right off Harper Avenue. It is in a strip mall, but parking is not enough, in my opinion. They share it with an auto store and about 6 other stores. Ladies in here are nice enough. We have purchased glasses through this store 2 times. We have never had an eye exam here, though, although it is offered. It takes about 7-10 business days for the glasses to come in and they have a large range to choose from. You can also bring in your glasses if you find the need adjusting or repair.

This is an excellent store to find a hard to find size in bras. It also caters to mastectomy patients, which I think is an EXCELLENT thing! Staff is very pleasant, helpful and cooperative. They even have $10 baskets where anything in that basket is $10! Sometimes you can find a steal!

This Payless is located on Harper Avenue, between 9 and 8 Mile Roads. There are many styles and sizes found here, up to size 12 for women, which is pretty hard to find! I like their sales when they have buy one, get one 50% off. They are offering free shipping when you order 3 or more pairs of shoes on their website, right now! Parking is plentiful and rarely filled. People who work there are knowledgeable and helpful, too!

This store is one of the few shoe shops that will still measure your foot and order you the correct size shoe, if they don't have it and if they carry the style you are looking for. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Selection is limited, in my opinion, especially for kids. Seems to cater to an older crowd. It could use a bit more up to date styles.. Many womens and mens shoes, although some seem a bit out of trend. They are basic. Prices can seem high, depending on where you are used to shopping. There is plenty of parking which is located in front and is shared with other businesses. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. They also do shoe repair and sell shoe accessories.

This store is located on Mack Avenue, with parking behind the building. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. This stores offer a large selection of bras in hard to find sizes. It also specializes in mastectomy items. Prices are equal to what you might pay somewhere else but I like the small town feel of the store. They also have $10 baskets where bargains can be found! They do layaway and have coupons printed in The Shores Sentinal, as well as other coupon packets you might receive at home.
