Crossroad's Trading Company was started as a great idea. Bring your clothes in to trade and sell... someone else will buy it... recycle, help the environment and help the community. It still is a good idea, but what happens when you couple good ideas with money, is the inititial intention gets lost in the big buck greed. Some may call it gone corporate. Crossroad's has done just that. What used to be one of a kind items lining the shelves and racks is now filled with merchandise stock that Crossroad's has gone into business with. What happens when the store fills up with this stock? You got it. Less to buy form you and me. They still buy, however they are so used to getting in stock from designers and stores with stock to overturn that purchasing a t-shirt from you or I is just simply a waist of their time. And don't be fooled buy the girl with a smile behind the counter. She wants what you are wearing. You figure the rest out.

But with that being said, you can really find quite an amazing selection and for not a lot of money. If you have the time to browse this is the place to go. PROS: Name brands CONS: Time consuming

Crossroads is a great place to buy and sell used clothing. They have tons of the most current styles as well as a great selection of fun vintage clothing. The store is much higher priced than regular thrift stores, but the quality is also much higher. They only accept the best clothing to be re-sold. The store is efficiently organized by clothing type and then by color. The staff is friendly and ready to assist you. They offer large dressing rooms for trying on your finds.

Crossroads is a good place to sell your barely worn clothes that you acquired through your experimental fashion periods. They are picky, so try to bring in clothes that you know will sell. I am a male, so they usually tend to turn away a lot of my clothes. Also the clothing selection in the store itself is decent, obviously there is more of a focus on womens clothing.

This place is NOT a thrift store. It's a second hand store... meaning that their trade in policy pretty much only accepts name brands. But, if you're a name-brand kinda guy or gal and are looking for something new but dont' want to break the bank, this is the place to go. If you're looking for somework-appropriate clothes that look nice but aren't going to cost a fortune, come here. But if you're looking for a really good deal, go somewhere else. As far as women's clothing goes, the average shirt is between 6-10$, skirts 9-15$. Shoes range from 5$-30$ depding on the quality and the name brand. Thery also have a pretty solid selection of handbags and accessories. The employees here really know their stuff, and are some high-fashion gals. They are always helpful, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line, even during the rush times. Trade-In policy is decent, but you must have up-to-the second fashions or name brands. You can make a bit of cash, or a higher percentage of store credit.

Crossroads Trading Co. is second-hand store shopper heaven. I never leave empty handed. With a continually changing stock of new and used clothing, you are garunteed to find something very cool each time you visit. The previously owned clothes are all in excellent condition and freshly laundered (this is not a stinky store). You can trade in your old that was so last month items for store credit or for cash. Not a bad deal, BUT they are pickie about what they will take. You can find tons of name brands and good lables as well as authentic vintage treasures. I am more familiar with the women's section, however they do carry men's clothes as well...and lots and lots of shoes. The prices for the most part are fairly reasonable. Some of the items are a bit over priced in my opinion...but that hasn't stopped me from shopping there...a lot. **They have nice fitting rooms. That's always a plus. So if i were to sum up the essence of this store in one phrase, it would be: the perfect place for the thrift store shopper who doesn't feel like wading through all the crap to get to the gold. Crossroads is a gold mine.
