I am a person who takes the subject of martial arts very seriously. I searched for a place that wanted to teach me the principles of Tae Kwon Do and not just sell me a belt like so many other commercial type schools. The teacher is a grandmaster (8th degree Taw Kwon Do, 8th degree Hap Kii Do). He is a wonderful teacher and both my son and I love his dedication to this time honored art. My son is 6 and loves to go to Lee's. I highly reccomend this place

This is a small store with great customer service I bought my Betty there and had work done on other bikes. They are very knowledgeable. I did not find their selection small. If they did not have something, they would find it. A great, friendly shop.

Our family has been skating at Iceland for about 20 years. We have been involved with many full theatrical productions at Iceland, and also recital-type shows. Sacramentans don't realize what a gem they have with Iceland - it's the perfect setting for family-type shows in an intimate atmosphere. It is also a great place to train - we have had, over the years, Olympic and National champions skate at Iceland (landing triple jumps!) who couldn't wait to come back because of the atmosphere and excellent ice quality. We also have Senior -level skaters training there for upcoming competitions, in addition to a fantastic hockey program. Check the website for upcoming shows. I admit that the rental skates are not so great, but this is not an unusual situation - we skate at several other rinks in Northern CA. and have found this to be the situation at every other rink also. At Iceland, I happen to know that there is someone working there who regularily sharpens the skate blades. If you seem to be sliding all over the place, try asking for a different pair of skates. If you are having trouble learning how to skate, they have group lessons on Saturday mornings - the only USFSA skating program in this area. You can usually ask one of the more experienced skaters (they are the ones in the middle of the ice, spinning and jumping)-almost always they will be happy to show you some basics! We're always willing to help people have more fun and become better skaters.

Kombat Soccer..if you are impatient, in a hurry and want deep discounts on cheap soccer stuff plus no advice or help in getting proper fitting shoes, and if want to deal with other people who are shopping for pet food, cheap shoes, and bicycles, then by all means go to target or walmart. BUT if you want top quality shoes, guards, and other soccer equipment, and if you want good advice from people that play and know soccer and will steer you in the right direction, then go to Kombat Soccer. I have coached for 12 years, have two soccer players in the house, and I don't mind paying a little extra for top quality and great advice. Kombat Soccer is a soccer store.

Amazing how this small business has been around for years in the midst of these chain sports equipment stores. To top it all, they are only open fall through spring. Their forte is strictly skiing and snow boarding equipment sales and rental and the accessories. They repair equipment as well and sell accessories and clothing. Very knowledgeable staff and will to assist.

Very friendly prompt service with a smile. Encourages questions to test expertise. Caters not only to soccer players but also to soccer fans with extensive lines of authentic and replica soccer jerseys for national teams and independent professional leagues.

Prices are reasonable and also offers team discounts of appareal and equipment.
Very convienient location with tons of parking.

I disagree regarding no "high end" yeah you wont see a trek madone here but check out the Masi fully decked out in Brooks bling bling! you wont find a better bike IMHO. By far my favorite bike shop in Sactown Its real and the love of the bike shines through here.
Pros: a visual delight.hard to find parts
Cons: honestly dont see one

This is a big store with all sorts of fitness equipment. You can find treadmills, dumb bells, bikes and fitness wear at very excellent prices. The staff is helpful. They will show you how the equipment works and the proper way of using the equipment. The equipments appear to be of excellent quality and condition. The store is clean and neatly organized. The location is good. There is plenty of parking spaces available.

This place is hit or miss on what you will find. Sometimes there is a lot and others, not so much. We like to buy outdoor fall gear for hiking here. They tend to have a good selection of items for this. There is nothing too special or unique in stock just normal stuff and brands but for good prices. Plus the people are very nice and try to help you find whatever you are looking for. I also really like the clothes for hunting and rain gear.

The staff is friendly and ready to help. There is plenty of parking. The store is clean and well organized. Everything has a price tag on it.
