We ordered pizzas and drinks and an appitizer of Onion Rings... The Onion rings were good of course being almost like homemade however if your stomach can't handle greesy, that's what they are...more than atypical greesy, it was dripping off of them. The pizza is the best size for a person and looks and smells good but the outer crust was burned and the dough in the center was still raw. The greese also sat on top of the pizza that could soak napkins up. I would expect this from a mom and pop place not from a Brewery. Their slogan on their glasses also said "You don't support your drinking but River City does" I thought that very inappropriate for an establishment. I am not picky but River City motivated me to get online and write a review. Every situation will vary depending on the staff working at the time you arrive, I just wanted to inform of the experience my husband and I had. The service was okay but not $50.00 worth for two pizzas and two drinks. Pros: in house root beer home made onion rings Cons: too much money for the food and service

Just had lunch here OMG!! One of the best burgers in town. I suggest ordering the onion rings that are made fresh in a fluffy beer batter. The pizza is good and is made in a brick stone oven. All over it is a great place to dine. I can't wait to go back for dinner with the hubby. Pros: Brick oven pizza, service, quality food.

We drank beer at the River city Brewing company, after our mailman converntion this last weekend. My buddies and I had a great time, the beer was cold and very good. The Rueben sandwhich was very good also. We were visiting Sacramento from Torrance, Ca and looking for someplace like home. This place was just like home with better beer. We also have to thank Carole with an E, she had the good jokes and made our visit even better. Thanks again, Steve. Pros: Good beer , Good food, Good time

My friends took me there for dinner last weekend, and I've got to say the food was excellent. I had half a hamburger w/ fries, and half of the chicken and cheese ravioli... yummy all around. The beer wasn't so great (ironic, right?), but that's probably because they were out of their 2 most popular. By the way, if the HAMBURGER isn't on the menu, just ask for it. They'll make it! I dined for lunch at River City while shopping at the Sacramento mall. I was very stressed out and in a hurry. I wanted to dine at a restaraunt, not the food court. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess, and seated within minutes in Shanee's section. I was by myself so I felt a little odd being at a restaraunt. Shanee was extremely attentive to my needs and made my experience very enjoyable! He even reminded me to validate my parking. Thank you Shanee, I'll request you next time!

But the service is lousy each and every time I go there. Not attentive on drinks and don't check back with you to see if everything is okay or if you need anything in addition to what was served.

I was amazed at how quickly bread and drinks were brought to our table until we received our meals. This was excellent. Then, I was astounded at how delicious the hamburger was I had ordered. I honestly have to admit I have never ate a better hamburger.The bread, the diet cokes and hamburger made my day. I went up and complimented the cooks and this is not something I usually do. I am usually picky. Pros: Great environment, Nice wait people., convenient location. Cons: Maybe more booths.
