This is an eclectic store, from costumes to weird jewelry to gag stuff. To X rated cards and joke stuff. When you go to this store take the time to really check it out. Go with someone so you can share the goofy, fun stuff.

This is a very fun store that I take the kids to when we are in Old Sacramento. There are so many little toys and trinkets that inevitably they all find something that they are thrilled with. I implement a $5 rule and they all manage to find something for less than that. It is a bit crowded, but that adds to the flavor of the store. If you happen to be in Old Sacramento, check it out.

I love this store! This store is just like spencers but yet they have a more variety of stuff for the young and for the old. Lot and lots of 'unique' things from birthday cards, toys, humerous things, gadgets, etc. You will find it here. This is an excellent place to go here for halloween for they have tons of halloween apparel and also for christmas to give your friends gag gifts, funny things, etc. Don't forget to stop by here!

There are a lot of unique items at this store ranging from costumes to hats to unique toys and trinkets. The best items from this shop would be their variety of gag gifts. This is a great store if you're looking from something out of the ordinary. The prices are affordable, but definitely more than department store prices, but the prices are definitely worth it. It’s a fun store with a fun atmosphere. The store is located in Old Sacramento.

Evangeline's is the place where you can find a gift for anybody and any occassion and have fun while doing it. The place is conveniently located in the heart of Old Sacramento and at the end of Downtown Plaza and has an extensive inventory of fun gifts or gag gifts for others or even for treating yourself. While browsing the shop you can basically test out or read everything and get a kick out of doing it. I have seriously killed an hour or so just walking around the store and looking at things. The staff is usually very nice and helpful if you are looking for something in particular, they will go above and beyond to try and assist you. Whether you are shopping for a baby shower to bachelor or bachelorette parties this is the place to go. It can get crowded some nights, particularly on weekends but that is what makes it fun because you know it is a cool place to be. Evangeline's also gets seasonal favors for holiday's but for Halloween they go all out with a costume mansion where you can find any costumes or accessories for Halloween that you need. The prices at Evangeline's are very reasonable considering you are buying novelty items that you may not be able to find anywhere else but stores such as these. Evangeline's is a fun store and has come to use for me on many occassions so I suggest you give them a shot.

Evangeline's is a definite "To Do" in Old Sacramento. The store is filled with all kinds of wacky novelty gifts as well as some true collectibles and memorabilia. The store has something to offer for everyone in the family, and kids of all ages will want to put their hands all over all the fun playthings in the store. The best time of year to visit Evangeline's in before Halloween when they open their giant costume shop. The costume shop is THE place to get all your halloween costumes and accessories. They have everything from the cheap costumes you get at the mall to exquisite pieces of costuming that will make a statement and last for years. The prices can't be beat, and you can usually walk away with a one of a kind outfit for less than you would have spent elsewhere.

This is such a fun place to shop or browse. When you are in the Old Sacramento area, you should stop in here. They have quite a bit of gag gifts which are really unique and funny. They also have a part of the store where they sell costumes. They have more than a few selection of fun to bizarre costumes. It is so much fun to look around here. Definitely a place to visit if you are shopping for a Halloween costume.
