This is a wonderful museum that's a small sibling of the larger discovery museum downtown. This is in a more convenient location on Auburn Boulevard near Watt and features fun activities for all kids, but this one is particularly suited well for the smaller children.
The displays change regularly, but there is a room that will feature the theme and a variety of hands on activities. My kids like the camping area and the musical instruments. The space area is fun to look into, and be sure to end your visit with a walk behind the museum trying to spot wildlife and a quick visit to the tiny store. How about some astronaut food? Your admission here gets you free admission to the downtown museum, and visa versa.

The grounds are a great picnic spot, there is a pond with fish and turtles and ducks. If you buy a membership it is only 55 bucks and if you go twice with two adults and two kids, it will pay for itself. Not to mention the 15% off at they very cool museum store.

I visited the Science Center as a child and loved the exibits and the activities. Anyone will love how knowledgable and interesting the Museum is.
