Ben Franklin would have been proud of this library because it is set up so simply. The children's section down stairs is large and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy themselves and play.
The elevators take you right to the reference section with a wonderful newspaper and magazine section that covers quite a time span. I have used it a couple of times for research; it has never failed me.
The staff truly love to help not imagining that they can find the information you need for a particular project you are researching.

More
CCHR was co-founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights. Today, it has more than 135 chapters in 34 countries.
Its board of advisors includes doctors, lawyers, educators, artists, business professionals, and civil and human rights representatives.
We are so lucky that Sacramento has a CCHR chapter.
If you or someone you know, has been abused by a psychologist or psychiatrist contact CCHR. They will help you take action.
I witnessed CCHR assist someone, being held against their will in a mental hospital, get released from that hospital.
CCHR is a very strong, stable group of people who can do something about mental health abuse. Check out their web site.

This place is fantastic. If you have a child that is having a difficult time in school or in life. Take him or her to Lillie's because it works. There you will learn the three barriers to study. There you will find out why your child can't learn and why the schools can't help your child learn.
I saw a little boy's life turn around for the good after one visit to Lillie's. He will be forever grateful.
Lillie's does not charge for their services. It's a community service to the public at large.

The first thing I noticed about Canna Care was how safe I felt. The front desk girl greeted me with a warm smile, and I found myself easily feeling relaxed and cozy. The business was overall clean and the staff was very pleasant to work with. Usually I do not have a long wait, the few times I actually have had to wait there was plenty of wonderful conversations to enjoy or reading material. I have since recommended this business to my friends.

I have attended about three functions at this location. Each one different and each one well-received and the surroundings made the event.
I love the tier levels and the many breakout rooms where you feel like your group is in their own little world.
The Sacramento Library is adjacent which makes it even more fun. The downtown gives this galleria a top-notch in my belt for entertaining.
This would be a great place for a wedding reception, not far from the capitol either.
Have the wedding in the Rose Garden, quick drive to the galleria.
Match made in Sacramento.

This place has new exhibits all of the time, but I haven't been here in a while. But I do remember coming with my Father. The docents were very helpful, and they were willing to tolerate a child's constant questioning. They will also help you through the exhibits, and explain anything that you don't understand. They also have a mini-theater, where they showed great little educational films.

I grew up with the YMCA. It was a blast. I learned to swim, make friends and help other people.
Today, they have an excellent sports programs for kids. And I hear a wonderful summer camp for kids during the weekdays from 7:30 to 6:00.
You can see the work out room from 21st and W Streets as you drive down the street.
The pool is inside and enormous. I learned to swim here as a child and the high dive was the first one I jumped off.

My grandchildren attend this school. They staff is wonderful they seem to manage to give all the children attention. They also have things planned throughout the day that helps children to learn math and English. They have a philosophy that children will learn what they need to when they are developmentally ready. This has made it a fun and enjoyable learning environment for my grand children.

I always scour their t-shirt racks, because they're always $1! They also have books, furniture, toys, all kinds of clothes, books, and general stuff. Everything is clean and bright, and it's all charity-based.
