"this" is Italian, in spite of the name. If you like large portions and leftovers for lunch the next day, this is your place. One of the few "old" Sacramento establishments left.
This is "comfortable" dining as it should be. Contrary to an earlier review, it is not: frozen, commissary produced food, just good old "like Mama made it" Italian.
Sure the room feels old, it is. The staff is "seasoned" as they should be.
Like ah my Papa says "you try it, you like it" Manga.

Just received my mantel from MetaStone. I'm very excited since it turned out beautifully. The service was helpful since they helped me come up with a great design that worked well with my space constraints. They even recommended an installer who was very affordable and did an excellent job. The product looks great and I'm very satisfied that everything fits and my home is complete.
Pros: Loving my Product & Fit In Challenging Space
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

Just had lunch here OMG!! One of the best burgers in town. I suggest ordering the onion rings that are made fresh in a fluffy beer batter. The pizza is good and is made in a brick stone oven. All over it is a great place to dine. I can't wait to go back for dinner with the hubby.
Pros: Brick oven pizza, service, quality food.

As a Cajun Chef, from Southern Louisiana, I was quite impressed with the quality, taste and appearance of the food. The service was superb and my waitress was the bomb with a warm smile and cheerfull attitude. I had the Seafood Pasta, with shrimp, scallops and andouille sausage , in a wonderfull tomato bisque sauce, and cheese filled spinch raveolle, the dish was very good. If it were me I would drop the scallops, and use crawfish tails, rename the dish Creole Pasta, with Seafood and Andouille, This would give the dish a real cajun flair. The menu is limited with some good entree's. I would suggest they expand the menu, I would suggest adding Red Beans and Sausage servced over rice, and one more fish dish, Red Snapper Au Gratin. Over all I rate this restaurant the best cajun restaurant on the west coast.. Gator as I am known.
Pros: Great Atmosphere, On the Water Patio, Moderate Price
Cons: Need more Cajun Flair

What can I say? I love Ettores. They have the best cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, and chocolates. But, they also have such good food. Want a hamburger? Their's is amazing. So are their soups and sandwiches and salads, and breakfasts on the weekends. Whenever I have a special event and I need to bring something special, I stop here to bring the best.

My wife LOVES Greek food, so my daughters and I thought going to a Greek Restaurant would be a perfect highlight to our weekend in Sacramento. The Greek Village Inn proved to be the perfect choice. Besides the great food that others have written about, I don't remember ever feeling more like a *guest*, truly, than a customer. We had a great waitress, and the husband and wife owners were present and both were charming and engaging and especially attentive to our daughters. When the Greek red sauce on the girls' pasta orders proved a bit too foreign for their young palates, the owner insisted on replacing them, quickly, with some grilled chicken and fries. That, in addition to the Shirley Temple refills, and the awesome dessert, we give it 5 stars easy, and look forward to visiting again when we return to Sacramento.
Pros: Parking, service, quality of food

Excellent selection of beer, their beer is great (I like the IPA) and they also host other small-brewery beers on a rotating basis. The food is good, but nothing to get too excited about--regular brew pub fare, read: slightly overpriced (but good) sandwiches/burgers, the fries are also good. They have the standard (4-7pm I think) happy hour on Mondays, and pints are $2 all day on Tuesdays ... this is when I try to make it.

I wanted to visit a grave at SML and live out of state. I called the day before being in Sacramento to ask about the location of the grave and they told me to just come in the office and they would help me.
I assumed the worst and that I would get hassled or blown off.
Boy was I wrong !! They immediately accessed the location of the grave and a friendly staff member actually drove me a long ways in a golf cart to the site.
I find people generally assume that they are going to get bad service and expect it. It also seems that people forget the excellant service they receive but never forget the bad.
Thanks SML for the generous and outstanding help in assisting me.

The waitress chicks there are sooo nice. They helped me with my beer choice, since, I'm not so used to all the different types. I got the Amber beer. I ordered the Rubicon Wings...wow! So spicy, but, soooo goood! It came with a side of ranch along with carrots and celery. I've only gone there a few times and usually order the same thing. I can't get enough of it. One of the girls was even nice enough to give me extra wings for the price same price of 6. I'm guessing because my friend goes there so much, that they already know what she's going to order. The Cobb Salad with the Ginger dressing or something like that. LOVE this place! Highly recommend. Cool people, yummy food, friendly and fast service.

After buying my 4Runner from Maita Toyota a few weeks ago, I'm the biggest fan of Maita Toyota. I'm telling everyone about them. I dealt with Al and he was really cool. I called around a few dealerships in Sacramento and Maita Toyota offered me the lowest price. I also needed to be fast because I was buying the car on my lunch break. I pretty much had 1 hour for my lunch break plus another hour because my boss's lunch break was the following hour. I did the test drive and bought the car. I was back at work in 1.5 hours! Al was great. He kept his end of the deal... He didn't try to jack up the price or sell me accessories. Thanks Al!
