After reading all the rave reviews about Melissa online, I decided to give her a try. The receptionist was great and got me in for my appointment within two weeks. Her schedule was very busy but the receptionist was able to accomodate me. I brought pictures to show Melissa what I was looking for. We hardly had to look at the pictures, because after discussing it, we were on the same page with eachother. My hair turned out exactly what I pictured and I will definately be returning to Morgan Taylor's. I have been to two other hair dressers in Sacramento, and Melissa by far is the best one I have been to ! Pros: receptionist, location, easy parking Cons: only take cash for new clients

I called the Salon and tried to get in with Melissa for a highlight haircut. The only thing the receptionist was able to do was get me in for a haircut. Seeing it was the week before Christmas, I was very happy to get anything done ! Melissa did a fantastic job on my haircut, taught me how to style it, and recommended some nice shampoo and conditioner for me. We rescheduled for me to go in next week for my highlights and I am looking forward to my appointment. If you go see Melissa you are in good hands and will leave more than satisfied !! In todays world of high paced superficial salons it is unusual to find someone who listens to your ideas and concerns and give you an honest opinion on what will work best for you. Melissa is truly and great stylist because she is so well versed in current and classic techniques. It is because of that this training she was able to help me tackle some issues that I was having with my hard to manage hair. She is the only person I feel comfortable referring my friends and family to.
