Waterworld is a great place to have fun but can be expensive. Admission is about $20 per person and that doesn’t include parking, tube rentals, and food among other things. I would recommend that you get your hand stamped and get some food outside, or even eat before you go. Sacramento can get hot in a hurry why not cool yourself off at the waterpark? They have a number of water rides and slides to offer. My personal favorite is the lazy river where you can find a tube and just daze away as the river takes you around. This place is great for family and friends; I highly recommend!

There's nothing quite like breaker beach though, or going down those huge slides. Bring the sunblock and have fun!

Here's a hint. Don't eat here, get your hand stamped, grab some lunch and them come back. Food gets so pricey here! And with the high admission, you can really lose a chunk of change here. The attractions are the same year after year, but they are still fun, and classic. There's a part just for smaller kids not to get run over by the "big kids." And a slide complex. On very hot days, it's super crowded!

Waterworld is a fun place to take your children on a hot summer day. The park is packed with water slides, "Breaker Beach" wave pool, the lazy "Calypso Cooler" river, and a Treasure Island themed area for kids to play. There are also sand volleyball pits for which equipment can be rented. The park is a bit worn down from age, but it still provides a nice place to cool off that is out of the ordinary. It is always really crowded, and if you rent inner tubes, you must be careful that other patrons don't steal them away from you. Lounge chairs are hard to come by unless you get there early in the day. The prices go up each year, but the attractions don't really change.

Waterworld is one of their favorite places to be in the heat of Sacramento, Calif.
They have many water rides and slides, even a cute pirate ship area for the little kids.
You can rent a locker to keep your stuff in while you enjoy the park and be sure to stop by the snack shop for a treat.
The best time to go is when our state fair is going on so you can visit both places at the same time.
There is an area for you to have parties and a small playground for the kids to get out of the water and relax for awhile.
