I resisted going into Rutland Pharmacy for a while, preferring to shop at the larger chain store because it was familiar. I expected higher prices as it is not that big from the outside and the only game in town. Regular shopping is a bit of a drive from here. When I did go in, I found that they were quite alright. The prices were great. The service at both the pharmacy and the front end was quick and friendly. They carry just what you’d find at the chain pharmacies as well as reasonably priced gifts, toys, and a few grocery items including milk and bread. It is bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. They also have movies to rent so it really is nice if you don’t want to drive too far. It is quite comparable to the chain stores in some respects and better in others. The only thing I can’t get there is the larger sizes of some items that I would buy, such as diapers. Overall, they certainly exceeded my expectations.
