Winfrey's has the best fudge around. They have a huge variety of flavors. My absolute favorite is Mudslide. It's a mix of chocolate and kahlua flavors. It's smooth and melts in your mouth. They also have tons of other chocolates and candies. All their chocolate is awesome. Try one of their chocolate covered carmel lollipops they are soooo good!

Todd Farm.........on a Sunday.......what a place!
You need to come here early during the summer....the place is filled with browsers. They open at dawn. By ten o'clock its hard to even find a parking spot. By one o'clock the dealers are already packing up their stuff. The dealers mostly sell antiques, but you can find an occasionally seller of plants, honey, dollar items, clothing, yard sale stuff. There is always something for someone. There are one or two small food vendors....and there is always the old fashioned snack bar where you can grab a drink and a dog. When you get hot and tired.........you can grab a seat on the bench that circles around the huge old oak tree.

Off the Vine is an amazing restaurant that has a perfect variety to choose from. The food was EXCELLENT and I mean the best around, better than the North End.
Off the Vine is very well priced and the staff is courteous and friendly. Even the Owner came over to check on how we were doing. You could tell she truly cares about the place and our experience there. We felt very important and I noticed she went around to all the tables. Everyone seemed extremely happy. Great Vibe.. Off the Vine... JOB WELL DONE

This is very stylish and contemporary place - z restored New England Barn with exposed beams, warm tones and crisp linens, square plates and matching glasses. The ambiance is warm and elegant with impeccable service. Oh, and the food is great! Fine cuts of meat with gourmet sauces. We went for the hoildays before Christmas, and the afternoon was marred only by repetitive CD of Elvis singing carols.
The feta and goat cheese crostade was overflowing with cheese and crisp with garnished with chunks of fresh tomato ($8). For my meal, I had crabcakes, and they were perfectly seasoned and served on fresh greens and a tasty romoulade.
Dessert were 2 oz servings in tiny glass cups of mousses, cheesecakes and other 4 bite delicacies. Neat concept! They bring out a tray and you select right from it. Coffee service is elegant - 3 types of sugar, giant selection of tea, and delicious coffee.
We were so impressed we returned for New Years Eve, already plotting what to order from the diverse menu, only to discover they had a function menu. For $65 we recieved complimentary champagne garnished with a strawberry, and a choice of one from three appetizers, two salads, 5 entrees, and two desserts.
Our table of five sampled scallops wrapped in bacon, shrimp cocktail and crabcakes. I selected the Hampton salad (spinach with cranraisens and pecans and blue cheese), and for my entree, I tried the prime rib with wine reduction, broccoli and a potato cake that tasted like the cheap toaster hash browns my mother in law buys by the dozen. The steak was excellent and perfectly cooked.
We all chose the chocoate and raspberry mousse for dessert (the chocolate was a bit gritty) accompanied with a white chocolate lattice.
The meal was leisurely and well paced and the staff in good spirits. The festive jazz was a little loud for such a small room, and the band was limited in ability to fill requests.
Overall the food is quite good but it doesn't match up to the look and service of the place.

McIntyre's was the place to get fried clams and all fried seafood back in the 20th century but unfortunately the place looks like it is closed for good. If you can stand the line, the Clam Box is just down the road a piece (toward Ipswich) and the fried clam are the best I ever had. Get a fried clam plate and experience heaven. (With 'bellies' - don't get the clam strips; that's some kind of squid or sea clam concoction that some New Yorker dreamed up.)
