I was initially very impressed with its shine and sparkle. It is a very nice gym. Unfortuantly I was immediately unimpressed with the staff attitude. No smile at all, little interest was shown, it certainly did not feel welcoming, UNTIL I mentioned interest in joining up and talking to the sales rep, the attitude immediately changed.
This is the only gym in the area that will not let you try a class or give you any kind of pass before you join.
There is no real time help or advice given if you need it either, I asked, and the answer was extremely vague. They would prefer you to get a personal trainer (at a price of course)
There is a pool, kids may not use it at all. So if you have a child wanting to train during off season, no luck there I'm afraid.
The sales rep did not understand my needs, and kept insistantly referring to the circuit machines, and the 'area rating' in a magazine. Dishonesty, is part of the sales pitch. You will try to be sold on a 'special deal only until 9pm today' that actually turns out to be the regular price (according to that magazine he will show you). Sales rep called back the next day mentioning that he still might be able to get me that special deal after all'
Oh, and if you do happen to stop by to ask a quick question, (such as a possible pass for one class to try before you buy), after you are given the vague 'no' the sales rep might just run out the doors to catch up with you to ask or rather call out across the parking lot, infront of other customers if you are 'ready to do your paperwork'...you will then find out just how unfriendly the sales rep will be if you say no. As a professional investigator, I'd say to be wary of the shine and sparkle, but if you don't mind a less than happy atmosphere, or require any future advice, go for it. This gym sells itself on looks.

still the cleanest club overall that i have joined...but maintenance and cleanliness have fallen off sharpely.i.e. swimsuit wringer is going to be removed instead of fixed; took four weeks plus to properly fix the sauna door; large carpet stains have been there for weeks; running machines have not been properly cleaned as previous weeks splashes are still there and the computer/heart monitors are degrading; the pool has looked foggy for about 10 days and still looked foggy yesterday even with a two day shutdown.

I purchased 12 months of Training sessions which is a total of $4,200.00. The Gentleman who signed me up was very professional and knowledgeable of my needs. My back ground also was a trainer years ago and currently I own a company that finds weakness in service and sales and we redirect and train sales teams to better improve service and standards to improve overall revenue. I was very excited with the level of expertise at the time and began with my first trainer at the Rowlett location. I made it clear with this trainer that I did body build at one time and do not want to grow, I want to stay lean. Lucky me, he would not listen to my pleading and I started immediately putting on the muscle. This same trainer came to me in a bind and borrowed almost a $1,000 from me and then disappeared. Of course he no longer works at this company and I am out $1,000 (now that is professionalism at its best). The gentleman who was handling getting me a new trainer who I was, and am still very impressed with then transferred to another location as did all the standards. I then had to get ahold of the new manager who placed me with a nice young man, who stood around unprepared not knowing what to do (even said that when asked what do we do next, he would look perplexed and state I don't know while looking around) he also placed me in a position of possible injury (he is not to blame, he really did not know better; he told me he was getting training there and they recruited him, I was his first day and first client- his manager put him on the floor before he was properly trained). When I called the corporate number to make them aware of what I was getting for my money, and asked to get a qualified trainer, they seemed concerned at the time and said they would have the VP contact me immediately. What I got instead was the same team I called to get help with called me to let me know the
