What a delight it is to walk though the doors of the ?Panasia Asian Bistro? in Roswell. You are always greeted with a warm ?hello? from Marsha (one of the owners) who will immediately make you feel like you are one of the family. The food is consistently well prepared by Marsha?s husband Bill. His gift of uniquely blending together asian and cajun fragrant spices with fresh ingredients, produces awesome results. By the way..the dumplings are to die for.
Pros: Your palette and your wallet will thank you!

My husband and I moved to the Alpharetta area and was trying to find the closest Vietnamese cuisine. We came across this restaurant and thought it would probably be the closest thing to what we were looking for.
The place was rather small inside but cozy. I was browsing through the menu and realized these people but cornbread in Pho. Who in their right mind does that? We ended up ordering a noodle dish which came out tasting like they opened a pack of Ramen noodles and threw some veggies and meat in it. It was horrible. I also order a Thai tea which came out to be something completely different. The waitress tried to convince me that was what it was suppose to look like until the owner came out to correct her. This was a horrible experience. It was more like southern food + Asian food gone bad. There's tons of great restaurants in the Alpharetta/Roswell area. This just wasn't one of them.

We live in the Bay Area and usually try to avoid Asian restaurants when we travel. We get kinda spoiled out here. Fortunately, we let some friends convince us to try the Pan Asian Bistro. It was wonderful. And, we have lots of great restaurants to compare it to.
The chef has an incredible touch mixing flavors and providing surprises. If we had the time, we would walk from California for another one of those Salmon Sweet Potato Cakes. I'm drooling writing this now. We haven't had such warm and friendly service in a long time. Thanks Mike, it was a pleasant surprise.
Pros: Friendly Service, Taste Surprises, Salmon Cake!

The Salmon Sweet Potato Cakes are always excellent. One of our favorite entrees is the Orange Salmon. The cajun spices add a wonderful zing to the sauce.
The earlier negative review does provide good information. PanAsia does not provide standard Asian food. I spoke with the owner, and they do NOT use MSG in their beef pho, so they rely on a medley of other spices to provide an interesting milder flavor. So yes, if you are looking for high-sodium pho, you will be better served on Buford Highway.
On my first visit, I was fortunate enough to meet Reesa, Bill and Shi Yi's other beautiful combination of Southern and Asian fusion.
Pros: Great Food, Easy Parking

Wonderful experience dining at this restaurant in 2004. A nice Vietnamese couple from San Fran ran the restaurant then. Thus, I was surprised that there were new owners when I ate here again in Nov, 2005. I ordered the Pho- surely, I thought this is a dish they simply CANNOT mess up... Boy was I wrong! The broth was so bland that I simply stopped eating it- lost my appetite. I would've gladly driven all the way to Buford Highway to eat Pho that night, had I known...
Pros: Prompt Seating, Good Location
Cons: Food Uninspiring, Slow Service
