Although the staff at this Walgreen's always seems to be running around busy putting things back, they take the time to help you find what you need with a smile. The cashiers stay cool under the pressure of long lines. I've been shopping there for the past four years and I can say that they know the definition of Good Customer Service. Also, It has great pharmacy staff who takes the time to explain your prescriptions.

This little resaurant has a great little outdoor brick patio that is perfect on a warm summer night. The staff is very nice and accomodating. The sushi has been fresh. I would definately recommend this place.

Village Sushi and Grill is located out of the way in Roslindale, but has unexpectantly wonderful sushi for this area. Japanese and Asian recipes are excellently executed with the freshest ingredients. Also, this is never too busy given it's out of the way location.
The best thing about Village Sushi is the value you get for your dollar. It's downright cheap to get a meal from here and they always give you enough to fill you up with just one order. Service is awesome and very efficient.

Located in Roslindale center, Village Books is a great addition to the up and coming downtown area. The store is small but offers large adult and teen fiction sections as well as a great children's nook perfect for an afternoon visit with the kids. I especially like the personalized service employees offer as well as specialty gift selection (cards etc.). I am sad to see previous owner move on (Annie Bauman) but am optimistic that the new owners will continue to do great things with this space.

I had a problem -- my basement had flooded and the pilot light on the hot water heater went out. I was hesitant to relight it myself and called TBros for advice. they told me how to light it and then, to my amazement, about 1/2 hour later i got a call from one of their plumbers asking whether that had worked and whether I still needed them to come out! amazing. And they didn't get a dollar from me for this -- it was excellent service, especially considering they had received no payment from me.
