Our precious Boo is there right now as I write this review and I can tell you her care and health is more of a priority than the purchase of a new car for us. I don't know a vet that isn't costly when it comes to surgery, blood work, IV's, meds, etc. Our little sweetie is a severe diabetic which has cost us thousands to keep her healthy. She is like our own child and I would not put a price on the amt of $ I would limit myself to in order to keep her this way. She survived ketoacidosis 5 yrs ago and is 17 yo today. Her blood sugar right now is out of control after an abrupt crash yesterday. There are pet owners and then there are animal lovers who see their pets as family and will do anything for them. If I had a child and they were in a hospital I wouldn't say, "ok well after 2500 pull the plug on the kid because she's just not that important to me and I wont be able to purchase that sports car Ive got my eye on!" Catzablanca is all about Cats - no barking dogs to be disturbed by or frightened of in the waiting room or kennel. We also have a great pet Beagle and treat her with the same amt of love and care as our little Boo. When you are gravely ill, you don't want a lot of noise and unfortunately when dogs are stressed and afraid they bark continuously. We dont put our pets in kennels for this reason and because of respiratory infections that often occur as well. We pay folks to babysit them in their own home when we're away. Again, I wouldnt drop my kids off at some place and have them in cages for days but thats just me. Some people have no alternatives, Im glad we do. Catzablanca provides top care for felines in my opinion and I cannot speak for all the docs there but Dr Mango is wonderful! A very modest, kind person who genuinely cares about her patients. There are crazy busy days there like anywhere and you might have to wait a bit longer at times than you would like to pick up your loved one. If expense is your concern - purchase pet insurance or a stuffed toy that resembles a cat / dog to cu

Vets didn't return phone call about very ill cat for which I paid to get a diagnosis, blood tests and x-ray. Even owner, Dr. Linda Dupont, failed to live up to promise to return call. Called her 3 times and left message. Cat suffered needlessly and will probably die due to their negligence & disregard for life and illness. They only seem to care when cat is in office and they can make money. No vets on call for emergencies either. They don't donate time or space to save a sick animal when owners can't afford outrageously priced care.

HOW DO YOU SPELL RIPOFF? Try C-A-T-Z-A-B-L-A-N-C-A
Don't confuse good acting with good customer service and quality care. They ARE very sales oriented and will fawn over your pet to make you feel good.
Symptoms: Cat was vomiting and wouldn't eat dry food. So, I took it in for a checkup. I had had a previously not so good experience with these folks, but wanted to give them another try. Had thought they were pushy and overpriced.
Well, after an exam, they gave me the bad news ... cat dehydrated and possibly dying ... wanted $800 to hydrate cat over weekend, rather than wait for blood test results (due next day). Ran the ole scare tactics scam explaining that that animal could die. They ended up convincing me to hydrate animal (under skin) and begin overpriced antibiotics. Also, forced me to get rabies shot. I ask, who gives a sick animal, possibly dying (in their words) a rabies shot? Talk about stressing an animal out. The bottom line was a $300 bill.
Next day, test results came in. They made me sit home all day to hear the results, rather than have a tech review the topline diagnosis. Talk about stressing people out!!! Finally, vet tells me animal is hyperthyroid and was perfectly hydrated. Didn't need hydration for hundreds of $'S or overpriced antibiotics either.
The story goes on. I asked for the price of the Tapazole. They told me $23.40 for 3 days. Since I had priced these meds online, I knew this to be about right. I asked and got confirmation of the price. I get home and when putting the meds in a pill dispenser noticed they only gave me 15 pills cut in halves for a fifteen, not 30 day supply. Either they lied, or are not too much into the details.
Oh, the food thing ... buy it elsewhere. It's marked up way too high because the small store volume is too low to get you the right price.
Tomorrow, I'm going to get the office manager on the phone and carve him a new one.
I'd stay clear of these folks. They do care, but it's more about the bucks than the cats!

I have now had 3 cats go through care with them. My first cat had a lot of kidney problems and was in numerous times. Never was I pushed to do expensive procedures, I was always given choices. The care he received was so wonderful, they were all like family, not doctors. When he passed the care and comfort I received was very special. My two cats now do not have the medical needs of my first one and I actually miss seeing them as often. I would strongly recommend this whole group.

as someone who works there, we love all the cats that come in, seeing the cats light up our faces and we are here only to help all cats to have happy healthy long lives with their family thats it. a client feels its so hard to find a DVM like Dr. Linda Dupont, they drive down all the way from maine just to have the luxury of knowing their cats are safe. and they the client is being respected as well. the cats always come first

Been going here since they opened....great staff, great doctors. When my 18 year old, Whitey, was on his last legs, they made sure that he would not be stressed by light sound or commotion. When he passed on, they were totally gracious and supportive. Currently, several of my "kids" visit and are treated with care, knowledge and professionalism. They (staff) remember their names, and ask about them! they are sure I get my multi cat discount, and always offer all avenues for treatment. My calls are always returned same day! I can trust Dr. Linda and her staff with my kids! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
(Check their prices---they are typical if not better)

My cat had an injury on his tail (something bit him) and my vet couldn't get me in for 1 day, I couldn't wait, so I went here.
The doctor examined my cat (who goes to the vet annually) and was like if you can't get your animal hospital records for us, he needs all his vaccines again and we have to put him under to look at the wound and it may be serious and have to amputate. WHAT!!! I was scared for my cat, so I said okay and then they proceeded to take my cat to the back, I had a bad feeling and requested him back. They were hesitant to even give my own cat back! I waited the day saw my vet, and my cat's tail healed with no problems or medication. All they want is your money, they don't care about your cats!
