Great advice and selection for indiginous plants. They also have a huge selection of plants that are organic.
They have excellent advice on trees and bushes. If they don't sell it, they'll order it in for you.
They also offer advice and landscaping design services if you need them. The best service in town, including delivery. Prices are average for a nursery.
I would never consider buying plants from Home Depot or Lowe's as long as Tropical John's is around.

The service here is very efficient, and there are food items, novelty items,etc. You can find a variety of candy and snacks that are off the beaten path here.There are lotto tickets available here, and they cash checks and sell money orders as well.
PROS: Convenient, efficient.
CONS: Not a 24 hour store.

This is a small store that is loaded with great stuff!! Whether you are looking for a designer discount , buying a gift for someone or just looking for something unusual for yourself, this is the place to go. Great candle section; all shapes and scents and sizes. The store has a selection of beautiful crystal, cookware, toys, stuffed animals, towels and bedding, home decor, jewelry, Limoges boxes, seasonal items, etc. No nagging salespeople to interrupt your thoughts. Did I mention the books, picture frames, designer tissue and wrap? ( Located in the same shopping center as Brookshire's ).
PROS: Good quality at lower prices, variety, unusual.
CONS: Items not always available, habit forming.

I mainly go here to get my loto card and once in a while I buy a couple of scratch off cards as well. I also get my gas here, it runs about the same as all the other stations here. I think it is fast to go in and out in this store, seems there hardly any lines of people in there. They have a few food items there also, can good, chips and drinks.. This isnt bad for a small store.

The alternative to the chain mattress stores, this shop is run by two brothers who offer great mattress sets and iron bed frames. The shop is small but they have demo beds of all the major brands including Tempur-pedic.
Delivery is local and fairly quick.
They have great prices and are willing to deal a little to make a customer.
They are located right on the downtown square with parking behind the building.
