My wife and I had been looking for a dependable, honest and reliable repair shop for our 1995 Volvo wagon. After several fits and starts with various shops a neighbor recommended European Auto. They are by far the most honest and dependable folks I have ever worked with.
Case in point, I perceived there was something wrong with the car and brought it in (the check engine light came on - a problem we have had with the O2 sensors). They looked it over for a couple hours and determined that there truly was not a thing wrong. After a line of inquiry from the mechanic he determined the sensor was tripped after we ran through a puddle, the sudden cooling effects of which confused the O2 sensor causing the "check engine" light to come on. Where other places would have charged me for some bogus "fix" they did not. In fact, they did not even charge me for the 2 hours spent diagnosing my perceived problem, even when I insisted they let me.
Another time I brought the car in before going on a 6 hour family trip. I was told that I would not be allowed to leave the garage before replacing the front brake pads. I asked why and was shown the pads were worn WAY down.
It is this kind of thoughtfulness and personal attention that has made me a loyal customer of John and his crew. I suggest you check them out yourself.

We went in Feb-06 for the first time on a weekend night and had a great experience. They specialize in Vietnamese food and it is fabulous. We started with the tofu salad which was surprisingly good and moved on to bowls of pho (beef noodle soup) for dinner. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. My only negative right now is that they are doing construction in downtown Rockville so the view isn't as nice, but that won't last forever. Enjoy!

Children's is where I get my check-ups. I like it a lot, not just because my mom works there. I like it because the staff that work their are very awesome to be around. I like the center's environment and they are very helpful and don't play around when it comes to that. My mom has been working there for almost 6 years now and I enjoy the experience of going there each time. For my personal advice, you should go there because even the patient that just past in 2004 who had inspired former President Jimmy Carter to write a book with his late friend was treated there. That's how excellent they are.

This is one of the best physicians I've ever been to. He also has excellent nurse practitioners & they are always available by phone to answer questions. They also have Saturday hours, which is extremely unusual. He is a highly-recommended surgeon & many other physicians go to him. He has an outstanding bed-side manner as well as being a very skilled surgeon.

Cliff Kirby owns the company, and has a few employees, not a huge staff, so he'll come out to do the estimate. His staff are competent, courteous, and knowledgeable, especially his office staff...which is his wife, Melinda. What a pleasant change to have someone in the office who is both nice and helpful! He even came and fixed something that PEPCO refused to touch.

This accountant has saved my husband and me thousands of dollars. He goes out of town a fair amount, but he is always available by cell phone when he does. He is familiar with special cases like the NIH's "loan Repayment Program," and that is how I found him. That program requires only specific individuals to file the taxes each year & he is very good at it. He knows all of their requirements and readily provides all documentation needed.

The two brothers that run this car repair shop are as honest as they come. Softspoken and straightforward, they tell you exactly how much the parts cost, and how much is labor before they do the work. If you don't need the repair done, if the car/part is not worth fixing, they will tell you. This is much different from other automotive repair shops that try to sell you services that are unnecessary. Their clients are loyal and come from word of mouth. The shop is not even listed in the yellow pages.
