I was charged $450 to replace an axle and was then told that the axle replaced was defective and would be replaced under warranty as symptoms continued. The mechanic then told me that the other side axle needed replacement for $450 before the service manager informed me that axles were OK and transmission needed replacement. They ordered the wrong axle which extended the servicing an extra day forcing me to pay more for rental car. After transmission was replaced they failed to adjust wheel alignment causing me to spend another six hours waiting only to have the steering wheel continue to pull to the side. I had to pay $60 at Just Tires to have alignment fixed after Congressional claimed alignment was correct. This is the worst dealership I have ever encountered with numerous overcharges in service department, endless tricks in new car sales, and pathetic management! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Congressional!

I was charged for a service I did not requested, and which had been supposedly fixed previously by the same people (actually they had just glued the broken part!)I paid just under $300 for the replacement of a glove compartment door. The repairman maintained he told over the phone about the repair, maybe. What I still don't understand is why did that compartment door lock broke only two years after being fixed and paid for at the same dealer? I did not get any satisfactory answer, except that I should be happy because the estimate was $1700 and I ended up paying only $1500! I am sorry, but it still does not justify paying for a non requested service, particularly for something that should not have broken two years after being fixed.What I believe is that they hopes (1) that I would be so happy about paying $1400 instead of $1700 that I would not notice anything, and (2) that I would have forgotten about the previous repair!Well, that's the last time I'm dealing with that dealer!!!

My experience with this dealership has been satisfactory. I've used them primarily for warranty repairs on a 2003 Mazda Protege and previously for a 1991 Protege. Repairs have been done to my satisfaction and the service staff has been very good about communicating with me if any issues arise while they have my vehicle. Like most dealers, their hourly rate is high and you can probably get better service at a good independent shop for less. PROS: Good Communications CONS:

And the fact that the service people are nice is the only reason that I'm giving them 2 stars. No one told me that MPV stands for Multi Problem Vehicle. When I bought my Mazda MPV, from Koons Mazda, I was told how reliable MPV's cost. I wasn't told that the Fix Or Repair Daily engine would spend most of its time being repaired. But that's another review. I have had three recalls on this car. I had two recalls done at this Service center and both times the repair failed. This last time I was told that I had driven over the miles of the guarantee. So let me see...they screw it up...and I pay $140 to have another person do the work. I doubt in both cases they did the work. They won't be doing the third. When I left the car for diagnostics of an engine problem I was quoted upwards of $600 for the fix just to find out if it works. They said a plug was out. I took it to another garage who did the diagnostics for less than $200 and plugged in the plug. Guess where I'm NOT going
