Unlike all other adult novelty store we've been in, my husband and I found this store to be incredibly comfortable and the staff was very, very helpful and had knowledge beyond anything we could hope for. Shopping on line you never know what you get, so you pay a bit more for service and excellence, just like you would at any reputable business or office. We wouldn't go anywhere else. For woman, the environment is comfortable and not intimidating.

The prices seem a little higher on those items that are not alreay pre-priced by Hallmark. It could be to the center of town location. We like to drop in here after going to our favorite breakfast place on the Pike.

I went in a few weeks ago to check out the Oriental Gift Shop. It was an average gift shop with things that were obviously and intentionally made in China. I did not find what I wanted, but I'm sure some people were interested in the books and small gifts they had to offer.
I suggest calling them before going if you are looking for something in particular.

I went during the lunch hour (around 12:30 pm) on a Wednesday afternoon, so they were pretty busy. There was a line of about 6 people, but the service was fast. I got a sandwich, a soda, and a bag of chips. In terms of price, it was okay I guess. About $6 for everything. The food was good, but not the best I've had. The portions are normal, nothing huge.
I think I heard that it is going to close down soon though.

I will never again go into this shop again. The sales people do not pay any attention to you and they pretend like they do not understand English, if you ask them what the price of something is. The quality of the items is ok, but the service is atrocious. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had, at an Asian store.
