My expectations were low when I first visited Dr. Young as I'd been to two spine specialists, who didn't see anything wrong with my back on the scans or the x-rays but were not able to explain the terrible pain I had whenever I had to sit for more than half an hour.
I felt much better after the first session with Dr. Young, and after the 5 one I was a new person. Thank you!!!

Dr Young has drastically changed my life. I have scoliosis and after many unsatisfying visits to orthopedic doctors and many years with lower back pain, I decided to go to a chiropractor.
She is very professional and caring. Her hands are truly blessed, since she will find the cause of your pain and will manipulate your spine and bones to eliminate any discomfort you may have. In addition, she has a heart of gold and cares about her patients.
I have been visiting her for many years now, and I recommend her 100%.

I was first diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 14 years old. By 19 years old, I had an S-curvature scoliosis and started sitting on doughnut-hole cushion because I would loose nerve sensations to my legs if I did not. Doctors gave me a back brace to wear and said that I would get better. Not. By 26 I had ruptured my L4/5 and S1 discs and slipped my L3/4 disc. By 31, I had 3 bulging discs in my neck and constant neck pain. My doctor would send me to physical therapy who would give me a little massage and exercises. By 37, I was injured because my head whipped back suddenly which caused my thoracic spine to lock up. I could no longer move my neck from side to side or lift anything over 10 pounds. Then my spine decided to twist and push one of my ribs into my diaphragm.
That was when a friend of mine recommended that I go see Dr. Young a chiropractor. I was scared to see a chiropractor. My orthopedic doctor that I had been seeing for many years never recommended a chiropractor. So I took my chances.
On my first visit, Dr. Young did an x-ray and talked with me about what she saw. She said that my scoliosis was rotating my spine and pushing my ribs into my diaphragm. My pelvis was disjointed at the base because the sacrum had twisted as well. That explained why I had been sitting on this cushion for almost 20 years. That hump in my back was causing compression in my cervical column and possible fusion of the C7/C6 disc.
Within one visit, Dr. Young moved my rib out of my diaphragm so that I could take deep breaths again. By the next month, I no longer had that hump in my back and that constant neck pain. Over the next few months, my spine and sacrum has slowly been rotated so that I can sit on a chair without feeling terrible discomfort and numbness in my legs and feet.
I thank God for Dr. Young's abilities as a chiropractor. My life has been so

Mariella is a master chiropractor. As a fellow professional I have sent a hundred pregnant mothers to her for all manners of adjustments from SI to shoulder and rib dislocations. She has rotated 95% of all the breech babies I have sent her. She even works on newborns.
Personally she has treated me after a work related accident and has treated my youngest son for shoulder dislocation in conjunction with his Occupational Therapy.
Her office is clean and her staff is friendly. On occasion, you may have to wait in the office as she gives her 100% to each client. However, you will be thankful when you are the one she is treating.

Honestly, there's only one person worth seeing in this area and that's Dr Young.
PROS: professional, very capable, really seems to care, it works
CONS: she's very busy - because people recommend her
