The Chinese food at Mama Wok is pretty much standard fare. I like that it's not too greasy like some restaurants, and the atmosphere is indeed very nice and clean, but it's nothing that special. But I love the sushi chef at the sushi bar! He is the nicest person ever and makes your sushi for you very quickly. And if you go back a couple times, he'll remember you and give you extra sushi. :)

My mother in law is Taiwanese, and when she isn’t ordering me to complete some project in her garden or commenting on my poor dish washing and clothes washing techniques, she usually eats at Mama Wok. In particular, she enjoys the Bitter Melon, which I find a little too true to its name. However, all of the other dishes are excellent. Not overly greasy like Americanized Chinese food, and the quantities are nice and hefty. It has a good atmosphere for eating in and also has nice service for those who prefer their Chinese taken out. If you want some authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price, then follow my mother in law to Mama wok. Just don’t order the bitter melon.

I'm not sure if its the same owners as the one up on Rockville pike but this one is really clean. My husband likes the food there. The Chinese noodle bowel is really good and its pretty inexpensive for around $7~ and then there are main dishes which can go up to $10 or more. I really like the Cod fish which has fillet fish with, tofu, and chop up bamboo shoots and tiny cabbage. This one is really good. The shrimp roll comes in 12 rolls and is around $12.99 and is really delicious when it is hot!

This store is a newer, upscale version of the Mama Wok & Teriyaki restaurant in Rockville. Instead of seating yourself and grabbing your own utensils, there is a waitstaff and menus of larger more elaborate dishes. The food here is excellent. However, I still prefer the one in Rockville. I like hole-in-the wall places and its slightly cheaper too.

What can I say about Mama Wok. It's one of the best Chinese Restaurants out. There service is very great, that's what I like about it. Not to mention the food. OH! All I order is General Tso's chicken when I eat there. So anytime when I'm at my mom's work, no KFC, Taco Bell, or 7-Eleven for me! It's all about that Mama Wok!
