Halsa is great! It is the only organic restaurant that I know of in the Rockford area. It has amazing food, and the best part it, it's all really good for you! They even offer information to you, as a customer, about organic food and feeding your family food that will benefit the environment and thier bodies. It tastes great, too! The only downfall is that even when they are not busy, it takes a LONG time to get the food to you. This is not a quick stop.

When I first heard that there was an organic eatery coming to Rockford, I was skeptical. I thought they'd be selling brussel sprouts and soy milk. When we went, I was really surprised. The food was great and they even had organic drinks that tasted great. I also love the information that they have about the benefits of eating organic.

This restaurant is new to the area and boasts being organic. PLEASE DON'T LET ORGANIC SCARE YOU! This is the greatest sandwich! The turkey and chicken meat are out of this world and the soups pretty alright as well. The price is comparable to Quizno's, but the taste is even better. The atmosphere is quiet and very clean. Quick service too!
