Aldeen golf course is one of the most beautiful things to see in Rockford. It's definitely among the best golf courses in Illinois. The cost is not as high as most of the golf courses in the Chicago land area. There are plenty of places to stay and eat around the golf course as well. Aldeen golf course is definitely worth going to if you are an avid or new golf fan.

I recommend Aldeen Golf Course. It is the best Public Golf Course in the area. The Course features 18 holes with four different Tee distances with bent grass fairways and greens. The pro Shop has a full range of supplies and the staff are always courteous and helpful. They have a full service restaurant as well as refreshment carts that drive around the course throughout the day.

My husbands favorite local course! Now, it is the most expensive local, public course, but if you're coming from anywhere else in the United States this is cheap golf! The course is great, wonderfully maintained and easy to get on. You can walk or cart it, depending your desire. Plus there is a shooting range right across the street and a sandwich shop on site.
