I found my mother's old sewing machine in the basement and I thought I'd give it a try. One problem. Well, two. I dont know how to sew, and the machine wouldn't work. So I took it into Zoltan's, and they fixed it up. I had it back in about a week. I know that they offer classes, but I haven't signed up for them, but what i can tell you is, that this old machine is working like brand new. Thanks Zoltans!

Village Green has a variety of plants, trees, and outdoor decor. I love shopping here for neat pieces to add to my outside garden. My mom and sister have both received gifts from me purchased from Village Green. The staff is very friendly. Reasonable prices.

In a town where all interior elements and furniture seems to be mass produced and from IKEA, this place is the exception. Great selection of well made furniture, fun accessories that you can't find anywhere else and even some pretty funky clothing. To top it off the staff is fantastic, so friendly and not the least bit snotty like you might expect to find.

Tuesday Morning is a great store if you can keep an open mind. This is a store where designer close-outs come to die. That can mean very good savings for you! I have purchased some great items here (my favorite being a Donna Karan bedcover that I paid less than half price for and a leather journal I bought as a gift for a friend that I then saw in a museum store in Chicago for five times the price). It's really hit or miss, however. You can get on their mailing list and receive snail mail fliers alerting you to upcoming arrivals. Most times, you just have to get lucky, but when you do, it's oh, so sweet shopping.
