We have ordered from Sam's a couple of times. The pizza is fabulous, good crust and quality toppings. However, the sandwiches are a bit small for the price and their "Italian Salad" said to serve 1-2 is barely a side salad. The calzones are relatively small but they are stuffed with toppings and cheese. I suggest the pizza and not get the other side items.

When we moved into town we bought pizza for everyone that helped. Someone suggested this place becuase they has 24-inch pizzas. For the pizza being as big as it was, it had a good thick crust and they were generous with the toppings. We got 2 24-inch pizzas a small pizza and a lot drinks for under $50. Not bad at all.

Every Friday evening my extended family order's Franchesco's carryout. Sometimes the person taking your order is difficult to understand, but our order never get's messed up. Always delicious, we get salads, pasta's and pizza. The shrimp is yummy too. When ordering carryout sometimes it's difficult to find parking and you have to wait, but all good things are worth the wait!

Try to get that deal at Famous Daves! They have a other things to buy, but I stick to what I know....the rib tip boat.

I will admit that the education I got at Rockford Lutheran is vastly superior to that of the public school graduates I have met but I have to be clear that this is because I didn't listen to what I was taught. I had Steinbacher beginning and ending lessons by saying "everything I will teach you today is false but the state says I have to teach it." Kolwey's comaprative religion classes should have been called "how to ridicule people of other religions for pointless pendantic, semantic, and often xenophobic reasons." Ploss with his 9 iron and ability to twist claim scripture should be followed without interpretation and then spend 45 minutes interpreting scripture in such a way as to match the conservative Wisconsin Synod views of the school... ugh. I don't know if those teachers even teach there anymore but the bottom line is if you want your kids to get a healthy dose of religious conservative brainwashing complete with steaming servings of self-righteousness, hypocrisy, and fascism this school is top notch!

Rock Valley is a great college with a great selection of professors. I had great selection of classes that were transferrable to many schools, offered at times that were convenient to my busy schedule. The best part about Rock Valley is that the price is so affordable! I got just as good or better of an education as my friends who went away to universitys, and paid about 1/4 of the price. It was quick, convenient, and educational. Great location, too!
