I've been eating at Stockholm since it was on 20th St. and I was still in a booster seat!! Being able to watch them grow and change over the years has been a complete joy. Even with the change of ownership- Stockholm has kept it's warmth and charm. It boasts the best swedish pancakes in the world and the wait that sometimes accompanies a visit- is well worth it!!! They treat you with that old Swedish charm and the food they are serving is worth writing about!!!

Hoffman House has long been known for it's prime rib! Make a reservation though- as the waits can be pretty long! I have attended several parties/gatherings there. The food is excellent from the salad- on and you will not leave disappointed. The location is great, the staff are wonderful and the food is top-notch!

For early morning fare, this place is the best place to have breakfast. The variety is huge with a special emphasis on traditional Swedish cooking (try the salt herring with your eggs). The Stockholm Inn recently changed their coffee supplier, and have a high-quality taste coffee at diner coffee prices. Don't forget to go to this place for dinner around Christmas season. Some of the more unusual Scandinavian holiday dishes are offered "in season". The Scandinavian gift shop is nice, too. Overall, the Stockholm Inn is one of my favorite places to be - period.

This is good little place to stay. They have good rates, easy access to your room ( outside access). They're easy to work with as well. It's not stellar, but it's a quick stop in town kind of place.
