What i like about this place is that they are friendly no matter what you drive in. whether we drive our sebring or caddy in, they treat me the same. I know that when I'm in the market for another car, I'll be coming here.

Beware, these people are contracted out to several auto shops around Rockford! They did a unprofessional tint job on my vehicle at Eastside Auto on Sandy Hollow Rd. The whole situation became worse from there. Even though I had a "lifetime warranty", the situation wasn't corrected. When Accurate Window Film failed to reschedule the work at Eastside Auto (after a no-show), the owners of Eastside suggested I talk to them directly. After calling personally for an appointment, the people at Accurate Window Film were very confrontational and rude. They stated that they do Eastside Auto's tint work but since I didn't have a reciept with Accurate Window Film, they would not redo the work. After looking into filing legal complaints in court, it would cost more money than it was worth..........a lose/lose situation.
Pros: NOT MUCH

Chuck and Bob's Automotive has a Budget Rental Truck Service on site. The Budget rental policy on vehicle returns is to fill the vehicle with gas. If the gas tank is not filled, a 30$ fee with be charged to your account plus the cost of the additional gas. I filled my rental truck COMPLETELY before dropping the truck off. The following day I noticed a charge of $36.01 on my account from Chuck and Bob??????s. After inquiring to Chuck and Bob's Automotive Service as to why I was charged this additional fee, a Mr. Will Espy returned my call stating he had to put $6.01 of gas into the truck - and therefore the truck gas tank had not been completely filled. I think this is just bad business. I had to drive the truck from the gas station to Chuck and Bob's! Also, I have no idea how far Mr. Espy drove the truck to place this less than two gallons of gas into the tank. I called the national hotline for Budget and was assured I would be refunded the 30$ because the small amount of gas Mr. Espy was claiming the truck was lacking. As I said before I think this is just bad business ??????especially for a business in the service industry. I filled the truck with gas and these guys just tried to stick it to me for less than two gallons of gas. I would NEVER take my vehicle to Chuck and Bob's for automotive repair. If they're trying to cheat me over a full gas tank I can only imagine what they would try to swindle with automotive repair. Not to be trusted.
