This is a very nice golf course close to downtown rochester. It is hard to find a better course close to rochester that isnt private. This comes at a price though. The greens fees are expensive and the crowd can be overwelming. The course is very well kept and challenging. 18 with a cart is around $50 so it can be expensive on the weekend.

This place has batting cages, a driving range and a mini golf course. The mini-golf course is not that exciting but it is nice. Bruesters is located right next to here so you can go get ice cream when you are done with all the fun. The driving range is nice as well and is large. They have coupons on their web site that makes this place a great and inexpensive place for some fun with the family.

This has got to be one of the best teams in the minors! They have a great line up and many of their guys have gone to the bigs with the Twins and before that with Baltimore. Every Friday for home games they have fireworks and they often have the local orchestra play before games. They also have day games which is great if you’re a stay at home mom looking to keep their kids happy!

This is a good place for bikes, both used and new. I was looking for an old cruiser. The guys there were very friendly and helpful. One of them brought out a bike for me to try that he had just gotten in, but hadn't put out yet. They both were knowledgeable and professional. They sell lots of new bikes, used ones, and do work on bikes as well, such as tune-ups

During winter when there is nothing to do, you must go see the Amerks play some hockey. There is always a big crowd, lots of excitement, and great food. Tickets are available ahead of time, or at the door. The games are in the Blue Cross Arena, which is right downtown, and easy to get to. The fans that come are of all ages.... from little kids to grandma and grandpa... and they are all pretty faithful and devoted to their team, so it is always exciting and entertaining. Going to a game is great for a family night out, or a date, or anytime you are bored.

Seeing a night-time soccer game is a great activity for a family night, and this is the team to watch. They are entertaining, talented, and fairly inexpensive to go see. You definitely get you money's worth! They play downtown, not far from 490, and parking is pretty accessible and cheap. There is always a decent sized crowd, and the food is awesome.

The layout of this course is excellent. It winds through Durand Park. The price is right too being a true public course. However, it is not maintained as well as it could be. It gets a ton of play being so cheap. The new front 9 gets quite wet after rain because it is below grade. Check it out. It is a fun course.

This place is great. They have two locations with a branch store in Rochester and a main store in Waterport. With all the water we have around Rochester and the some of the best kayaking in the country accessible by a couple hour drive, this place is great for picking up yourself a boat and gear. The shop has a staff that can get you setup and into the right type of kayak or canoe. They have or can get many different types of kayaks and canoes. The prices are good and they even have used canoes and kayaks if the money is an issue. They offer lessons and classes to help you get started as well.

I would say the apartments here are average. The people are nice and the area is very nice. If you have a problem they come right away and help. The pool is kind of cloudy at times. Parking is plenty but not in good places. The prices are good as long as you sign up for a deal like 2 months free or such.

The Manhattan Square rink is a great place for a family outing. During the holiday months its decorated beautifully, you can really get into the spirit of the holidays here. Its good for a few hours of fun, whether you're a beginner skater or a pro. Everyone is sure to have a good time. Parking could be a little better, and they need more places to warm up and get a bite to eat around there.
