Burns Personnel is probably the best staffing agency in Rochester! They're locally owned and one of only two direct suppliers of temporary employees for Eastman Kodak. The staff is friendly and personable, and will do everything they can to help you find a job. The vacation and holiday pay is decent for a temp agency, and the pay rates are reasonable. If you're looking for a job in the light industrial, technical, or clerical fields, I'd highly recommend giving Burns Personnel a try!

Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is definitely worth seeing. The great thing is, for any student, you can buy tickets for only $5!!! This is for most of their performances! A few each year are excluded. The auditorium they play in was built under George Eastman's direction, and it is beautiful. It makes for a really nice night out. Due to the Eastman School of Music's great reputation, the RPO attracts very high caliber guests who join them throughout the season.

Yes these people really know their stuff. Come here to at least look at digital cameras. Their prices may not be the lowest, but it is worth talking to them. They have matched prices for me in the past. And, yes they turn VHS tapes in DVDs and do a great job.

A good laundromat. They have plenty of washers and dryers--I've never seen a line where you have to wait for one to become available. They have different sizes of washers to choose from. The lady there is very friendly. They also offer tailoring, and will do your laundry for you.

We attended a party where the reptile guy and his staff put on an educational show for a group of 8yr olds. They brought snakes, scorpions, mice etc to the home and educated the kids all about each creature. The kids got to touch them and hold a huge giant yellow snake. They were very patient with the children and were nice to the kids and parents who were afraid of some of the animals.

This is such a great store. They had everything I could possibly need for my childs birthday party. It is so easy to have the one stop shopping availible to me because four kids dont enjoy going in and out of lots of different stores. The greeting cards are well worth going for as well. They are always much cheaper than the grocery store.

Penney's has awesome deals on Black Friday.. from clothes to sheets/blankets/comforter sets, dishes, pots/pans, electronics, housewares... You name it, it is on sale--
Last year I bought luggage very cheap!
