I love coming here to look at all the model airplane parts. They have everything you need for remote controlled items such as cars and planes. Whatever crafts you need, they will have it. They may be more expensive than a Michael's store for crafts, but they have many hard to find items and a helpful staff.

Dan's is simply the best place for the bored hobbyist looking for something to do. This place has everything from Dollhouse kits to models to model rockets and even R/C stuff. Some of the widest selection of hard to find Tomayo plastic models (they're Japanese and really detailed) is what I love going their for. The guys and gals working the counters know their inventory and won't hesitate to order something for you (pre-paid of course). Paints, brushes and all sorts of little goodies that can help put the finishing touches on your project can also be found here. They have an outstanding collection of Testor's paints (my preference for models).
