Scott Miller carries latest trends in hair, make up and body products. Bumble and Bumble is my favorite! It has been my mainstay hair products. All staffs are very professional, friendly and equally talented. Hairstylists are all trained at Bumble and Bumble academy. Very skilled. You will love how the hair is verstatile when it is cut. I loved my hair results. It can be put up, put down, curled, styled, tressed up, put up on the side, etc... It is very flexible and verstatile. Prices are reasonable.

I have only ever been to Scott Miller for facials and manicures. And I do like going for those services. My favorite is the botanical facial. It's an hour long facial that will have you coming out feeling wonderful, relaxed and refreshed. It is also one of the more reasonably priced spas I've found in the area. I had my nails done there for my weeding too. The staff has always been very nice and they make you feel like a million bucks. The only drawback I've found is they do try a little (not like other places) to push their products on you and they are a bit pricey with their products. So you just have to tell them "not today" and they are pretty good about not pushing them more. I have never been there for a regular haircut or anything and after looking at their website probably never will. They seem WAY to expensive for basic services. But for an indulging treat for yourself I highly recommend them!

I started going to Scott Miller back when they were in Fairport. I was a customer for years. I loved my stylist, who eventually opened his own salon in Penfield. After college, I went back to Scott Miller. Then they built the new salon in Pittsford and everything changed. Their opinion of themselves is vastly overblown. The staff became rude and almost surly. It could take a month to get an appointment with a junior stylist. The Bumble & Bumble was nice since I didn't have to order it online anymore, but after being treated rudely one too many times, I stopped going back. They charge prices that might not turn heads in NYC, but in Rochester, come on. $125 for a haircut and highlights? I get the same thing across the street for less than half.

I cannot stand places with a snobby air. That's why I loved the Scott Miller Salon when I lived in rochester. They offered terrific service and products, but they never made you feel uncomfortable like some high end salons can. My cuts and colors were always great. They always used the latest techniques (the first place I ever saw razor cutting, or used hair wax.) It is pricey compared to some other salons, but it's worth it.
