Some friends introduced us to this classic family diner a few months back. You will feel like you've stepped back in time at least twenty years when you walk in this place. The owner greets you and vigorously shake your hand, the waitresses call you "hon" - its great fun! The menu is pretty standard breakfast/brunch/lunch fare. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Don't expect gourmet, but the various incarnations of eggs Benedict are pretty tasty. This is a good place to bring kids too, even young ones. It is busy on weekend mornings, but they seem to get people seated fairly quickly. They have a small parking lot around the side and back of the restaurant.

The food is so good here, and it puts chains like Bennihana's to shame. The grill (big tables where you sit around a chef cooking in the center) food is really good. Huge portions, fun atmosphere (can be sat with strangers at the same big table, so it's social), tasty, fresh food. Don't forget to try to leave room for the delectable mmmmmmm fried tempura ice cream dessert.

As the owner I feel that I an apology may be in order. I just recently realized that places of business can have reviews posted about them. To Carrie W.,I welcome you back to our office.Our show room has limited space and hence we can not display all that we offer.Any of our associates would have been happy to take you into the warehouse(18,000sf)for you to look at any particular item. We've been to Remington's several times over the years and consider it to be a special place. It looks very ordinary from the outside, but the interior is very romantic. The food is *delicious*, prices are moderate, the service is excellent (both attentive *and* friendly) and the owner is a very generous person.

This place is very good. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are right at home and the food is delicious. You get alot of food for the cost and it is very comfortable dining with our four kids. I have recommended them many times in the past and I will continue to do so in the future.

This place is a very nice place to eat. It does have the feel of a buffet and that may not be someones taste. The food is not bad and the prices are good. If you are having a wedding there they are very nice and take care of all your needs. The outdoor gardens are very pretty in the summer.

If you love chinese food that is actually cooked right then you will love the China Gate! When you enter their restaurant you feel like you are a part of their family. They welcome you right away, sit you where you feel most comfortable and never forget your there. Now I've never been to china but I have to say the experience they give you makes you feel like you have been there. From the tea served in actual chinese tea cups and the food served in courses on chinese plates and bowls in the center of the table for all to pass around and enjoy. The only difference I can think of is you sit at a table instead of on the floor. For the drink lovers..... let me tell you that family can make a chinese drink! They dont skimp on the alcohol and the serve it in cups like I have never seen before! They have a exotic cup for all of the chinese drinks and a few sips get you 3 sheets to the wind. Last but not least the prices. Put it this way after my dinner and drinks I have a full stomach, food still on my plate and enough money to tip my waitress enough to smile for a day. Final thought GO THERE YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great bar. The food is good, not great, but good enough to go back. I haven't had a problem there yet. The service is friendly and the nightlife is fantastic. There was a live band in the back and karaoke in the front. I recommend this place if you want a fun lively atmosphere and you are over 21.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. This is one of the few all you can eat buffets in Rochester. They have a great assortment of foods along with a very large dessert bar. I love coming to this place and it wont break the bank. The only thing that I would complain about is the extremely small bowls in the dessert line.
