I bought my first car at Toyota of Riverside back in 2002. When I was ready to upgrade to a dual cab they put me into a lease saying that I wouldn't have to pay for the first three months and I could come back in 6 months - 1 year to switch over to purchase for the same monthly deals, all of which was bull. I'm currently in my second year of the lease, and they STILL can't get me a purchase finance for the same amount that I'm paying now. I went to Quality Toyota in Corona, and at first I thought they were being too pushy, but afterwards I realized that they were offering me a SWEET deal over what Riverside offered. Too bad I never went back to Quality.

I would never buy at Toyota of Riverside and I have owned more than 7 toyotas, including 3 currently. I have visited almost every dealership in SoCal and this one is one of the worst. I did buy 2 cars here, 5 years apart, including 1 that my husband insisted on getting because it was my birthday. We went in with a firm offer from San Bernardino Toyota because I called prior and Riverside said they could beat it. After 4 hours they finally came down to the SAME PRICE - and the next morning, San Bernardino called and said they would take $500 off the price. I told my husband we should wait but he wanted it for my birthday. In my experience, they are rude, dishonest and the service department is not helpful. John in the fleet dept at San Bernardino is much more helpful and wants repeat customers, so he takes care of you instead of squeezing for every penny cuz he knows you won't come back. I'd go to San Bernardino, Moreno Valley or even Longo Toyota before I'd go to Toyota of Riverside!

This place has a large amount of toyotas. I was looking to buy a silver 2005 camry and they had one ready to go. I decided to continue looking however as the sales man was way to pushy. I do not like to jump into something as big as a new car purshace right away and he did not respect that. Overall, the rest of the men there were rather friendly. The selection was large so if you want a toyota, you may find it here.

I purchased a used car at Toyota of Riverside. The first salesman I dealt with came off as the typical car salesmen (read-sleazy). OK, I got over it, and purchased the car that I wanted. Then I met with the financing guy who added an extra three hundred dollars to my bill. Definitely not a big deal to the company, but it was not something I agreed to pay. Long story short, I spoke with the general manager of the dealership after the fact and he refunded my money. The day after purchasing the car the battery died . . . so much for that 40 point inspection.
