This place is one of my favorite restaurants. They have the largest menu I have ever seen. There are literally hundreds of items on the menu. The pancakes are awesome; banana nut is my favorite. And the chocolate chip corn bread they give you is amazing.

Absolutely LOVE it! You walk into the most friendly environment you can imagine. Stylists are laughing, customers smiling and someone always has a great story.
I have been seeing Kristin for over a year- and she is so talented! She is very personable, easy to talk to and really understand what the customer is looking for. My past cuts have ranged from requests of "just trim my bangs" to "Ugh...I don't know what I want- make me pretty!" She is positively FANTASTIC. I have never left the salon disappointed. Go see her!!

Just had a great experience! Got to taste great cheese and learn about several new ones. Their selections and knowledge is tops. A must for any cheese lover!
Rick will take the time to teach you about any cheese in the shop (most unique to the shop or of better quality then supermarkets).

If you are in search for an authentic gyro in the bergen area, then you must go to It's Greek To Me. They have the BEST gyros that i have ever had anywhere. It has all the essentials to a perfect gyro. They also have very good tasting French Fries. You definitely need to try this place out, as order the gyro!

This pet store just opened Aug of 2004 on Ridgewood Avenue. We have gone in to visit the puppies several times and everyone has always been so nice. They only sell dogs and they sure do have a large selection. They offer grooming and we made an appointment to bring our older dog in. After I dropped her off they called even before I made it back home. They said she was too nervous and snippy to groom. They do the grooming in an open loft above the store. I guess with all the people and barking puppies it agitated our dog. I wish they had a different set-up. It would convenient to have her groomed there.

Are you a die hard cyclist? Or a beginner looking for a good first bike? Or are you looking for a quality bike for your child? Then you absolutely have to check out Ridgewood Cycle, In Ridgewood NJ. It is located on Broad street (Right near Smith Brothers). Parking in Ridgewood can be a pain but this is close to some on street parking as well as the parking lot by the train station. When you first see the store front, you will think ok- tiny little shop. But, it is actually much bigger than you would expect. The people here are fantastic and can answer and biking question you can throw at them. they are helpful and courteous and so knowledgeable without being condescending. The prices fit for the Ridgewood Area (read: a little on the high side) but for the service you get and the quality bike you are buying, it is worth it.

I RECENTLY VISITED RIDGEWOOD COIN & STAMP LOCATED IN THE HEART OF RIDGEWOOD. THIS IS A VERY BUSY STAMP & COIN STORE. I WAS THERE 9 IN THE MORNING AND THERE WAS A LINE OUTSIDE THE DOOR. THE GUY WHO RUNS THE STORE BUYS JEWELRY AND GOLD SILVER FROM PEOPLE AS WELL AS SELLS. HE HAD A LOT OF MERCHANDISE IN HIS STORE CONSIDERING THE SIZE OF THE STORE FRONT. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME FIND THE PERFECT COIN TO GIVE AS A GIFT. HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DIDN'T RUSH ME. I WOULD DEFINITELY VISIT THIS STORE AGAIN.

Luckily I made reservations early in the week. When we arrived on a Friday night, the restaurant was busy. Though busy, the wait staff took care of us right away. Once we sat down, we never noticed.
The food was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Chef Gary and his creations are really really good. He had a shredded chicken and bean soup. The combination worked wonders. The hush puppies with balsamic were out of this world. My main dish of Rags and Fungus (combo of mushrooms and fresh pasta) was excellent. Desserts were full of taste but nicely portioned.
If you are planning on being in the Ridgewood area, definitely stop at Silver Oak.

This is probably the Sushi restaurant that has been around longest in Ridgewood- And there is certainly a reason for that. The sushi is fresh and always good. The prices are reasonable. The place is cute and the people incredibly friendly. The one con is parking in Ridgewood- But that is not the fault of this place. You may have to walk a bit to get here but it is well worth it. This place can get very busy- especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Of like the seven Japanese Restaurants in this town, this is by far one of the best for the prices.

Color Me Mine is one of my favorite places to go with my Godchild. This is a place where you paint ceramics. They have a wide range of pieces you can choose from and they vary in price. I must say some pieces can get very pricey so if this is a younger child painting, I urge you to take the smaller pieces!! This activity usually takes about an hour to complete. You can not take home your piece the same day, so you must be wiiling to drive back in a couple of days. They also book birthday parties their which I know the children would love, but again, this depends on your budget. I strongly suggest you check out this place as it is fun for the whole family!!!
