They also have some really nice items that you can use to decorate your home for the holidays. None of those hideous 6ft inflatables here - just some simple classy items. You will not be sorry you spent some time at Happy Tuesday's.

Happy Tuesday is a boutique that specializes in gifts not found in large department stores. When you enter this retail space, you will notice the variety of items for sale that can decorate all areas of your home. Happy Tuesday recently moved into Ridgewood, NJ, and already is crowded with browsers and shoppers looking for unique gifts. I was impressed with the range of prices for the items--it is possible to find candles, gourmet items, and paper goods for under ten dollars. They have an attractive glass case that houses designer pens. Ask the staff for assistance if you would like to see prices. In the same case were novelty, upscale cufflinks, tie tacks, and business card cases. In the back of the store, seasonal decor and baby gifts are on display. Throughout the store, prices were clearly marked and there were a lot of different items on sale, such as a hammered iron and wood serving tray. I noted how many of the items for sale are crafted by artisans rather than large companies. This adds to the special feel of the store's merchandise. Happy Tuesday is a boutique that fits right into Ridgewood's bustling main street. I have a feeling it will thrive for years to come. PROS: Artisan produced items CONS:

I have always admired those who make their own greeting cards. I have been fascinated with the craftsmanship and skill in designing them that I have recently dabbled with making my own. I love seeing these works in gift shops which is where I one day noticed a plethora of cards at Happy Tuesday in Ridgewood. This is a perfect place for Happy Tuesday to be situated as it's located in a very chic area. The store is very happy with colors inviting and sparking a creative impulse. Personally, I am a fan of finding knick-knacks for myself and for others, and this place ofefrs a variety of not only greeting cards designed by independent designers, but soaps as big as your hands, handmade candles, jewelry, journals and other interesting things that are out of the mainstream. This charming place captures a pure essence that is really hard to explain. I really feel like a little kid in a candy store marveling at all the exciting and wonderful things presented to me. This is a fantastic place if you are looking for that one-of-a-kind type of item, something unique and different that you never would have thought of in the first place. This is absolutley great for birthday gifts or even something to treat yourself. Visit Happy Tuesday to shop for items that you can't find in mainstream stores. It has a lot to offer!
