Absolutely LOVE it! You walk into the most friendly environment you can imagine. Stylists are laughing, customers smiling and someone always has a great story.
I have been seeing Kristin for over a year- and she is so talented! She is very personable, easy to talk to and really understand what the customer is looking for. My past cuts have ranged from requests of "just trim my bangs" to "Ugh...I don't know what I want- make me pretty!" She is positively FANTASTIC. I have never left the salon disappointed. Go see her!!

I'd visited this corner store in Ridgewood twice before realizing that there was a full pharmacy! And a compounding pharmacy at that. I've purchased several excellent products here not found elsewhere such as Aladerm cream for dry skin.
What attracted me to this apothecary (don't you love this name) was the outstanding selection of fine and hard to find cosmetics that are only for the most discriminating beauty lovers. In addition, to upscale brands like Clarins, Stila, Paula Dorf, Benefit and Crabtree & Evelyn, they stock chic, trendy and "must have" accessories that will leave your wallet empty because you'll want one of everything! Terrific place to buy a gift for yourself or friends--they even gift wrap for free.
I travel here when I want to learn about a brand and its application from their expert makeup artists. They also do consultations and special occasion makeup for a fee. This is a great place to try out the latest colors and learn the proper application.
All the latest and trendiest brands are here--current season colors. They also have samples which you can ask for--helps in trying out new brands.
Standard pharmacy items are also stocked here and they will special order products and ship them to you. Exceptional service with a smile.

I'm very picky when it comes to getting my haircut so I was glad to find Maple Barber Shop in Ridgewood. First class treatment from beginning to end to always leaves me satisified. The shop is small but always crowded as they have a steady flow of clientele and repeat customers who always wait patiently for their turn. There is usually 3 or 4 barbers on hand at a time making sure that customers are satisfied with their cuts. Everyone has their own favorite barber and will wait for him until it's their turn. Prices are reasonable for haircuts and shaves. If you every get a chance to get a wet shave, I recommend you do it. It's relaxing and they do an excellent job.

Panico is a large full service salon right in the middle of Ridgewood Avenue. I have never had to wait long for an appointment and they get you right in when you arrive. The spa treatments are a great idea for a last minute gift for the person who has everything else. They also have a lot of product too. It all can get expensive, but they do such a good job, it's worth it.

I went to the spa with expectations of relaxing treatment which I received. In addition I took home some of these incredible products that they use there. My skin has never looked better. I go back every month now since they have these really reasonable rates for people who invest in a series of facials. Loved it!

The Center For Fitness is located in the YMCA/YWCA building. The CFF membership includes the membership to both Y's. so you can use almost the entire facility including the pools. The gym has all the equipment you need, with nice locker rooms, towels, a whirlpool and sauna. Everyone is really friendly it is not intimidating at all. They offer free childcare and a bunch of classes are included. It's a great value too. It is not flashy (no t.Y's) but it has everything you need to get in shape. Check it out!
