First of all- the jewelry. Great quality and so much selection. Jewelery comes in great red leather boxes that are so pretty they do not need wrapping themselves if you are giving for a gift. The staff is so helpful and willing to go above and beyond if you are looking for something in particular. One half of the store is all jewelry, but they have so much more on the other side. They have the BEST deals around when it comes to China and flatware. Their prices beat everyone's i checked for not only my own china but also when i was buying for other people for gifts. Much better prices (and they often have specials where you can get another piece for free) then all those big box retail stores. They also have a large collection of collectibles and stuff for a new baby. you can also buy right off of their website and have stuff shipped which is such a great perk..

I've used H & R Block for my past three tax returns--I am math illiterate and I had three jobs for which to file. Too confusing! This H & R Block is open during tax season, and then it remains closed. If you require full time assistance, the H & R Block on Ridgewood Avenue is open all year. Even with an appointment, you are going to wait for awhile before getting service. However, I feel it is worth the wait because the accountants are friendly and driven to get you every single tax break they can. I learned more about what I am able to deduct as a result of meeting with their staff. They are able to handle standard and more complex tax returns. H & R Block also offers information and assistance with investing money and buying a home. I paid well over $100 for my tax returns to be electronically filed by my H & R Block representative, but it was great to have the peace of mind knowing that my taxes were done correctly. I would recommend H & R Block if you need assistance with your taxes and can afford to spend a bit of time and money to have someone else take the burden of tax season off of you! PROS: Fast, Reliable Service CONS: Pricey, sometimes with a long wait
