This is a great Thai place in a nice town like Ridgefield. I had very nice dinner on last saturday night with my 2 guests. When I first got in to the restaurant I was so surprise with the nice spot in side begin with the cozy dining alcoves, dark rosy walls and handsome arches, and the welcoming staff members. We start with some nice drinks Cosmo politant, Maitai and Thai beer, Unbelieveable! they make the best Cosmo I ever have in my life. We were delighted with many dishes, especially the appetizers. We began with a peppery larb, a salad that combined ground chicken with disparate ingredients was so great and healthy. Another starter, Chicken satays was so delicious we finished it all. Thai soup usually pack an unexpected wallop. Tom-yum goong was no exception, is was fiery and excellent. A steamed concoction- sizzling ocean plate, served on a piping hot platter- came with shrimp, scallops, mussels, squid onions and carrots in a lively sauce of fresh chilis, garlic and Thai basil leaves. The evening's two best entrees were noodle dishes. Drunken noodles came with bell pepper, tomatoes, onion, basil, bean sprouts and a choice of meat slices chicken, along with a pungent mix of fresh chili and garlic. Pad Thai, a Thai classic, was a pleasing combo of noodles, shrimp, bean sprouts, egg, spicy tofu and scallions, with chopped peanuts make the dish had verve. We have had a flavorful peanut curry, with a rich coconut-milk curry thick enough to spoon over rice and as aromatic as a great curry could be. The desserts at Thai Pearl you could not find anywhere around here . The sticky coconut rice with slices of fresh mango was refreshing , as was the coconut ice cream. We were so enjoyable dining at Thai pearl. Before we left, I saw the sign Thai pearl got the excellent rate from Zagat survey year 2007-2008, no wonder at all. I would highly recommended to anyone to try Thai pearl They have so many dishes that not spicy at all.
Pros: food, service value
