The Ridgefield Thrift Shop has always been one of the best area thrift stores. They have a wide selection of clothing for women, men and children as well as some hand-me-down housewares and toys for kids. Here they always have the best selection- perhaps because of the surrounding upscale neighborhood. One time I was lucky enough to find a Louis Vuitton pochet for $1 which I in turn sold on ebay for over $200. I haven't been that lucky recently, but this store is still chock full of great finds.

They have a wide selection of clothing for women, men and children as well as some hand-me-down housewares and toys for kids. One of my top thrift stores in the area, although it is a little further for me to drive - but it is worth it. Very well organized and laid out and the women who work there are sweethearts. They have quite a decent selection of books, which I love because it kills me to pay full price for a book these days. They also have a lot of men's and womens clothing, as well as children's, and whole separate room full of household items. They are always putting new items out so you will rarely go and find the same stuff you found last week.
