I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. My friend suggested it to me a few months ago because she knew the owner (Brendan Walsh) was a famous chef in New York City a while back, and I finally decided I would give it a try. I was impressed with the variety in the menu and the wines were in a great range of prices and tastes. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his filet while I had a deliciously cooked salmon. I had brought my eight year old son along, he had a burger that was well cooked with these homemade fries on the side (I'll admit, I tried a few, too good to resist). We sat at the Tavern side, a more casual part of the restaurant, that had a toasty fire. It was a comfortable, partly colonial theme to account for the 200 year old building. Prices were reasonable and well worth the family outing. Probably the best restaurant in Ridgefield as of yet.
