Dr. Tate is a very good OB. She was very understanding with me during my first pregnancy. She encouraged my questions and always listened to my concerns. She honored my desires to wait it out without intervention. She has a nurse practitioner that works with her and every other visit you see Marcie. I would have rather seen the doctor each time but the office is busy. My deliver was difficult and she did a great job. She stayed dedicated to helping me deliver a healthy baby and fixing me up afterward. She also gave me great follow up care and even called to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend her.

This is a good place to get "medicine" from. They also have a nice selection of novelty items, but they are rather high priced. The people are nice and friendly. It is in a good area,with good people. Overall this is a great place to shop for just about anything

Dr. Call has a great bedside manner with the kids and parents! My son has been through allergy testing for food and indoor/outdoor allergens. Dr. Call was able to get a good visit even with a 15 month old. You can tell he genuinely loves kids and he even helped my son clean up the toys at his latest visit. He makes good suggestions to manage his allergies and patiently answers all my questions. He seems to never be rushed and I appreciate his calm personality.

Dr. Carothers is a great pediatric ophthalmologist. I have taken both of my children to him. I am amazed at how he is able to see things in the eyes of even babies! He has a very mild quiet mannered disposition. He is good with the kids and seems very knowledgeable about his profession. The office at the end of the Huguenot Bridge is very nice and has a play room for the kids.

Although Dr. Sharpes is rated in Richmond's top doctors, I have not been happy with his bedside manner, care for my concerns and questions, or if my child has received the type of care I hoped he would receive. He is a good person, but I was not impressed. He seems to be too busy to take quality time to know you as a patient.
Pros: The office is clean and nice and the patient rooms are nice as well.
Cons: The waiting room is croweded and the waiting time is longand your appointment time is always later than what is scheduled for you on the phone. I have taken my children to see Dr. Sharpes several times and so far I have not been highly impressed with the q
